I'm so confused. My medication has been stopped and I'm advised I need to see a GP. I'm told to be online at 8am to fill in the online form. 8am I'm online and the dreaded message appears saying unfortunately there are no appointments and to come back to said form, on Monday. Three days time at 8am. I can't see how all appointments for an entire working day have been snapped up with in literal seconds of the online forms being open.... This has been happening for weeks and weeks. The next time I personally will be available to even attempt this process again will be in two weeks time due to work commitments.... It's totally impossible. If anyone knows if any surgerys locally that will take on a Southgate resident and who appointment booking system actually allows you to book an appointment please do let know me. I give up

Worst practice I had been with. It is easier to get an appointment with the Pope rather than GP here. At 8.30 when trying to call there is no appointments. I was told by lady who picks up the phone that PEOPLE QUE FROM 7 AM AND I SHOULD TRY THIS.. what year we live in? 1980? It is really pathetic how their service does work or not.. I have been trying to get an appointment for over a month and still hasn't got one.

This surgery is not fit for practice. They mostly ignore patients. Insult foreign doctors. This practice really insures you wait as long as possible for a referral to a consultant, That's even if you have a private medical insurance which could help you thus costing the NHS Nothing. Worse surgery in Crawley.

Phone at 8.30 not even placed in a queue just says appointments full up and rings off. I have just discovered that all GPs are not employed by the NHS they are contracted to the NHS but on GPs terms. So basically they can do what they like, not see patients and still get paid by the taxpayer. This whole system needs overhauling.. When I have seen a GP the service has been exemplary, getting the appointment is the problem.

Going down the hill! No chance to get appointment on the phone as at 8:30 already no appointment available so been told to come directly to surgery at 8:30 and wait for it god knows how long to get one. When finally managed to get an appointment it was delay by 45 min as doctor was too busy. Last one when I received the message that doctor will call me on that day…no one bothered to call me. I’m a patient here for nearly 6 years and I never ever seen that mess and incompetence before. Such a shame!

Absolutely disgusting, discrimination level way above....the doctor didn't bother to acknowledge my despair being with sick baby in my hands atleas to listen till the end my question...told me to call 999 if i think his life is in danger becouse se has to see another patient and the booking was only on the other older kid... the hall by the way was empty no sign of rush for the next pattient ...shame on her !

The appointment sistem is rubbish and getting worse!!
Been with them almost 9 years,never felt so discriminated!!!

Whole team are incredible. Nothing is too much for every single staff member. Using the website to manage an appointment has become a bit easier for me.

Been with SMG for a good 26 years, firstly when they were up near southgate shops. The GP's, nurses and reception staff have been excellent when I've had to use the service.
