My son has died because of the shocking treatment and abuse and neglect in this hospital simple
You will not walk away from this simple

I was there back in march, I can't complain the nursing staff do their very best under difficult circumstances and stressful situations and the food was very good it suprised me for a hospital 😁

Absolutely disgusting place. I received no help whatsoever and was lied to repeatedly, told if I cry I won't be allowed home. Only 1 good nurse, who was an absolute angel , Richard doing, to him I am forever grateful

I stayed here for 2 months during the summer of 2023 and received exceptional care from the kindest, most dedicated team of healthcare professionals I could have asked for. From admission to discharge, the staff were attentive, thoughtful and made me it clear that my recovery was of the utmost importance to them. A special shoutout goes to Marlon, Ian, Pri, Abdulhakeem and Grace for being the creme de la creme and going above & beyond to ensure I was looked after to the highest standard. I'm so grateful to have been nursed back to health at Southern Hill Hospital and wish all their employees the absolute best.

I was thERe, Phil wouldnt help, Phil said he would help... Why didnt he help me he just watched., everyone just watched. Why did they only watch, never help, they laughed, all i could hear was their singing during the night, every night, none spoke to me in english, no communication, i cant sleep anymore anymore anymore. bed was like concrete bed was like nota bed but they told me it was a bbed but they lied to me every day, I HATE YOU PHIL. WHY DIDNT YOU HELP ME....... THEY WANT TO SEND ME BACK. IM NEVER GOING BACK

I stayed at this hospital for a number of months, the treatment I received was absolutely appalling! I was verbally assaulted and tormented by the care workERs. The relentless bullying did not stop and I resorted to crying myself to sleep every night. Would not recommend. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

I was in Pearson ward for nearly two months and cannot stress enough how horrible a place this is. You’ll see a doctor like once a week and only for a short time and they won’t listen to what you actually say. Majority of the time you’re left to your own devices in a tiny room that has a blue slab instead of a bed. The nurses barely even speak English and are incredibly rude and unhelpful. The night nurses are even worse and sing at 3am in the morning while the patients are trying to sleep.

One evening, a fellow patient was having an epileptic seizure and was screaming for help while the nurses ignored him and continued to chat outside my room. Phil is notably a horrible person, very two faced and acts like your best friend whilst he does everything in his power to make your stay much worse.

I was a patient from the 2nd of August to the 6th October on civil ward .... Issues with mental health and addiction and as much as I relapsed in there a few times the staff were great couldn't have picked a better place to recover mentally I left there to go into recovery am now 150 days clean and soba and studying to work in drug and alcohol services.....thank you to all the staff who helped me especially Roland and Sarah (activities)
