Great place to volunteer. All staff are very inclusive and respectful. Really nice relaxed place to get creative ideas flowing. The building is very modern inside and all amenities are clean and very well maintained.

speaking from experience with the Sheffield city council,moving to a house with south Yorkshire housing,i can say that it was a very good decision,any jobs that need doing are very fastand aorted within a week or so,no wait time gwtting in touch with them,overall i think they are very good

My 87 year old mother in law has been left with no heating or hot water for 5 days now and still no end to the problem in sight. All that you get from SYHA is that their contractor is short staffed , but they will prioritise her. No communication at all.

When we contacted contractor directly they said that the problem had not been reported to them for 2 days

They say that that they MAY get round to her in a few days.

So do SYHA think that an 87 year old woman living alone without heating for nearly a week is acceptable ?

I rent a beautiful house from SYHA after doing a mutual exchange from a council house. When ever i have contacted SYHA, they have been friendly and helpful . The house is well maintained and SYHA have done the 2 repairs i have had with no issues. So far I highly recommend

if there were a zero star theyd get this . Applied for a direct let with this association so i could get out of my current property that is basically collapsing and suffering with black toxic mold . and was asked to get this that and other to be told I wasnt successful for the property so basically wasted my time and wasnt bothered about the situation I am in and the circumstances so basically their not bothered what you live in . basically their like any other housing association and if your face fits then your lucky !!!
