Receptionist will not even now book you an appointment, everything had to be done online and someone has to decide if you are worthy of an appointment or not.Most elderly patients just give up. A really poor booking system has just been made even worse. Why should I have to tell a receptionist (non-medical professional) my symptoms btw, is this not an invasion of my privacy?

Surely it would be effective and also more productive that if a blood test is required by the doctor, to have it taken at the same time by a phlebotomist/nurse? NO, have to make a further appointment, weeks ahead! Just no thought or consideration for the elderly who have to trek up to the surgery from Beighton!

Absolutely disgusting service. Can’t even speak to a doctor or get an appointment. Do everything online it’s unprofessional and is ran by a racist manger. The receptionists are not medically qualified to be dismissing anyone from seeing a doctor. An the breach of data protection is ridiculous the fact I have to tell the receptionist my medical problems is invasive

shocking receptionist care today can't have an appointment unless medical emergency when asked what a medical emergency entailed was told life threatening well I'm pretty sure if it was life threatening I wouldn't be on hold to my local GP!!! absolutely ridiculous!! have to explain myself to a receptionist who apparently can decide what is classed as a medical problem!

Since the practice has changed the phone system to be able to hold your call while you get on with your day, it feels much easier to get an appointment.

Also - Sue Dean is absolutely fantastic. So friendly, approachable, and made me feel at ease and I struggle with meeting new people. Thank you Sue. 🙂

After moving away from this drs, and going to a difference GP, I believe the difference in care and the appalling organisation of this place. From the moment your trying to ring at 8.30 in morning to get an appointment to speaking to the rude receptionist who speaks down to you l. If you go up to glas window they fit speak to you like your irritating and hindering them.
The doctors surgery itself looks old and haggard. Old magazines on tables. Looking at boring tv adverts listening to bbc 3 on radio. Like it’s not depressing enough being there.
My current drs have the system when you Simple go on a link ask for any appointment and it frees up the phone lines for elderly or people with general questions. They have a board that shouts out peoples names as well has it on a board. Sothall however if your poor sighted you have no chance as they only have a light up board and that’s it. My New drs I get same day bloods taken, but not at sothall you to book another several weeks in advance for them to be done. And to find out your results you have to then sit in queue and be caller 45.
Get with the times, employ more staff, get knew systems. You’ve shut Beighton down and everyone’s gone to sothall but you’ve not changed anything to accommodate this
