One of the best GP practice around, The Receptionist are friendly and helpful. The practice nurses put you at ease. and they have a self check in so you don't have to wait in a long queue.

Been with this Doctors a good many years.
Very kind , caring and helpful receptionists , nurses and doctors. They may not be perfect, you may have to ring a few times for an appointment or wait a while but that’s life!
They also do lovely community groups like arts, Thai boxing, women’s groups etc. I think they are probably one of the better surgeries by far.

The staff at Somerford Grove are the kindest health professionals I’ve ever encountered.

The nurses I’ve seen (wish I could remember their names) have been so patient with me.
I faint when I see a needle and usually when this happens I feel rushed to regain consciousness and hurried out.
The nurse at Somerford not only took so much time with me before and after I fainted, she also educated me on why this was happening and made me feel that this was relatively common and that I was normal.

Dr. Ezra Waterman-Wiggins is far and away the most present, understanding, sympathetic, active-listener I have maybe ever experienced. He is so attentive while speaking with me that all the thoughts I have like - “maybe I’m making too big of a deal out of this” or “ I shouldn’t be bothering him with my complaints”- completely fade away. I suddenly feel that I matter and that my concerns are valid.

One of the many examples of this was during the height of Covid while I was isolated in a new country and deeply depressed. He took so much time just to listed to me and let me cry on the phone to him. He also took action connecting me with resources and groups who could ease the isolation.
It was an experience unlike any I’ve had in a medical setting and I am so grateful to him.

I've been at this practice for 3+ years now. I'm really pleased with it - I've always been able to get an emergency appointment when I need one and the staff are all friendly and helpful. The eConsult tool is also very useful. Julie in particular is fantastic!

I feel very lucky that I am a patient at this practice. They are extremely efficient and genuinely care. My doctor is Dr Richie who is brilliant and really takes the time to listen and offers the best solutions accordingly. Not just quick fixes. The receptionists are always so helpful and the nurses are fantastic.

In general, The Health Centre Somerford Grove is one of the best health services I have received in this country, with its staff at the reception, nurses, doctors and all service providers, I would like to thank all of them. As a patient, seeing people who listen to you, try to help and are kind relieves me, I think that this health center should be supported and developed by the state in order to provide a much better service. Thank you very much to the whole team.

Visiting the doctors is always unsettling, but i had such an amazing experience at Somerford Grove Practice. The doctor i saw, Laura, was so warm and friendly. She put me at ease right away, I was her last patient after a 10+ hour shift, but you wouldn't think it. She took such great care of me, was so patient and lovely. The nurses were great too! Highly recommend
