This agency and these carers are absolutely horrendous, the general shocking situations that have occurred because of the idiots that they have as carers is astonishing. The carers they have hired are forced to work for this agency and thus are incredibly unmotivated to actually work and give a bad name to the decent carers out there. I would never ever go with this agency unless you want to deal with the inept and stupid people. They are unable to carry out simple and general task that any human would be able to do even a three year old would be able to do this with more skill than these young men. situations such as asking if a Tesco meal deal: chicken and salad sandwich should be microwaved, One carer was unaware that the hoover had to be extended and continued to hoover bending down, he was confused on how to make a ham sandwich and was completely unaware what a battery was and toast or even use the toaster shows the complete lack of domestic skills that any human being should have let alone a carers should have. The carers have no care for the people they are working for and most come for 45 minutes, give my Alzheimer Dad a cake for dinner and then leave. The lack of communication and friendliness is shocking. This care company is probably one of the worst choices i have ever made.

Somcare looked after our elderly frail mother with great care. They were able to dedicate a small consistent team to provide four time a day care. The carers were respectful, compassionate, gentle and kind, especially towards the end. They helped make the last few months of her life safe and comfortable. When we needed extra help they were able to deliver it promptly. We cannot sing their praises loudly enough.

Somcare agency have provided excellent care services for my uncle.They have proven to be extremely reliable and professional towards all aspects regarding my uncles care and have always been available with reassurance regarding any worry i have had regarding his care. The staff are amazing in the way they deal and speak to their clients and I have now registered my aunt under their care. I would 100% recommend somcare to anyone looking for a reliable, trustworthy and hard working care provider

Absolutely rubbish! The Management and carers don’t follow the rules and are pretty abusive. Some of the carers and one Manager shout a lot and refuse to do their job properly. They don’t believe in caring for a younger client with a disability and other health issue like mental health ones. They believe that people like me are very bad and have to be disciplined. There are a few carers who are genuinely good though. It is just so sad that they have had to send me around 15-20 different carers who stay at varying lengths of time. This makes it very hard.

I've never done a review before but I had make this one because my experiance with Somcare has been nothing short of amazing. The management are so helpful, caring and attentive. The staff have been great too. You can tell that Somcare is very effecient picking people for their team as my mum has had a few carers and each one has been great! We have been with other agenices before but none like Somcare!!

Somcare is the most terrible care service possible they were dealing with my dad and ended up severely neglecting him to the point were they admitted to not administrating his tablets when they were supposed to resulting in my dad’s illness getting worse to the point he sadly passed away also neglected cleaning his house when it clearly states cleaning in his package, also failed to feed him just gave him sandwiches and cups of tea and hardly showed up even when they did they had no form of ID. This is totally disgusting and disgraceful to be treating someone in this manner wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

We have 93 years old lady with dementia and girls are taking care of her Yusra and Koos are just amazing always on time and very friendly and caring lovely girls
