This has been the worst GP practice I have ever experienced. The receptionists seem to have no understanding of the healthcare system. Over my five years here, my experiences have been consistently awful. I’ve even had appointments where the GP searched my symptoms on Google in front of me, only to tell me that was likely my diagnosis. I could have done that myself at home—I was seeking professional medical advice from someone competent, which I did not find at this surgery.

Additionally, I have had GPs dismiss my pain, suggesting I take ‘anxiety pills’ without ordering any tests or referring me to a specialist. I eventually sought private care, and—unsurprisingly—my condition was never ‘in my head,’ as they had implied.

More recently, I experienced severe pain and bleeding during pregnancy. When I called the practice for a referral to the Early Pregnancy Unit (EPU), they told me to contact Darent Valley Hospital directly. However, the hospital informed me they only accept patients with a GP referral.

Slade Green Medical Centre is staffed entirely by incompetent individuals—from the receptionists to the doctors.

They have improved so much since the past years! Took my parents there for their appointment….and Right from the moment we walked in, we were welcome by the staff. A lady called Stacy made sure my parents were comfortable as she had a quick chat with them while showing us where to sit.
The nurse, Dr Michael was incredible! He was super friendly as he looked after my parents.

These bunch deserve more accolades!

Terrible service was told i had to wait 2 weeks for an appointment then she on the phone told me she will send me an eco silt link to try get an appointment earlier and the she hung up and I have no link, you get better service at the darenth valley a&e and that place is abysmal

Recently registered via the website which took all of 5 mins. Very straightforward and easy to do. Got a text a few hours later to say I was on their system and when I called to try and book an appointment to see the nurse I was given one for that same day. Can’t get more efficient than that really … I’m actually glad that I didn’t go by the reviews … but had to write one just so if there is anyone out there like me, that’s looking for a doctors survey in 2023 they know it’s not all doom and gloom when it comes to Slade Green Medical Centre 🙂

I have been a patient here for 13 years. I have always been treated with courtesy and respect by the staff. Unfortunately it is becoming more difficult to see a doctor or obtain advice if you have a problem. To have to wait over 2 weeks for a consultation is just not right. Also answering phone calls needs to improve.

I've never had a problem with the surgery. I am always able to get an appointment.
The staff are always cheerful. Like most surgeries these days you are unlikely to see the same health professional each time.

Absolutely disgusting service, been with this practice since I was born that's 57 yrs this year, I suffer from asthma all my life, had an appointment booked for 3.30, and have received 3 text messages to confirm the date and time, then arrive down there only for the staff to say it was 2pm, even though I have the messages on my phone, they wouldn't see me, absolutely disgraceful, really wasn't helpful at all. Then told me I had an appointment booked to see the doctor on the 18th of july, and I haven't. Terrible service. I'm looking for a new GP practice..

I am so thankful for Tracy and Dr. Nooti Nehru for being so prompt and helpful with my dad's prescription yesterday and today. We really appreciate it as it's rare to get helpful people theses days specially when you have no clue what to do.
