I recently had a skin camouflage appointment for a scar on my right forearm, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the results. Vanessa was not only professional but also incredibly attentive, making sure to explain each step of the process. The procedure was comfortable, and the final result has made such a difference in how I feel about my scar. The color match is perfect, and the camouflage blends seamlessly with my natural skin tone. I’m so happy with how it looks and would highly recommend this service to anyone considering it!

Also the parking was easy access and all the staff are lovely and helpful!!

I recently visited the Skin Camouflage Service at the The Nuffield Bristol Hospital, and the process of registering my presence for the assessment was incredibly quick and smooth. Vanessa was so welcoming and made me feel comfortable right away. She was very patient and consistently asked questions to ensure I was satisfied with the products and the camouflage trial. I was pleasantly surprised by how skilfully she combined multiple products to help me achieve the perfect coverage I wanted. Initially, I was a bit concerned because of my skin type, but she did an absolutely amazing job. I couldn’t be happier with the result!

I was very reluctant about my visit as I was unsure on how this service would benefit me as my burn was over my right foot. Having gone all summer with my foot hidden I felt relieved after my visit knowing there was products out there I could use to improve the appearance of the burn sites, during the summer months!

My appointment was extremely informative. I have had my scars for 2.5 years and have never been advised on how to look after my scars. I learnt a lot on how I can improve my scars and the stages of a scar and came away with lots of information about different things I can use to help my scars. I also had a skin camouflage trial and wow after being told by my consultant that there was nothing they could do I was amazed after seeing the difference with the skin camouflage. The appointment was very thorough and included a detailed history for when you got the scars and what has happened with the scars since having them. I would highly recommend this service and I will finally be able to go out with confidence and without people looking at me funny including not having to wear leggings in the summer heat!!!

I went with my granddaughter for a consultation for her post operative scars care and camouflage on her face and leg. Firstly the receptionist was welcoming and the waiting area comfortable with tea coffee and water available.
Vanessa took us to her room and the consultation started with her doing an ID check and a little paperwork. Vanessa then clearly explained what she does and expectations.
From scar care to camouflage application all information given was clear and easily understood.A very good experience.

Travelled from Bournemouth to Bristol to see Vanessa and it was so worth it. I have heavy and big scarring on my arm after being in a car accident a few years ago. She was patient with colour matching some cosmetic covering and making the scars seem like they were hardly there. Even with my tattooing around them she made it all blend seamlesly. She was so kind and you can tell she really cares about what she’s doing. Thank you so much!
