Brilliant practice. Patient polite reception staff, down to earth skillful hardworking nurses and kind understanding doctors. Obviously they have budgets etc so I can't always get what I want , but I get what I need. Its a good job some people worked hard at school.

Abuse of Power and shocking waste of public money. My mother had a telephone appointment with the head GP as they do not like to see patients in person. He asked my mother why she needed the appointment. She explained that she had recent blood tests which showed that she needed an increase in her thyroid medication and he replied with Did You Say Please? He increased her medication by double but is with holding giving her the correct prescription until her current low dose prescription runs out in a couple of weeks. This may be punishment for a complaint she has going through as they left her without thyroid medication for over a year. I have contacts within the BBC and think this surgery would be perfect for an undercover exposé.

Used to be a really good practice but recently can't get a face to face appointment - even when NHS 111 have told you to phone and book one?! Told by receptionist to fill in a form online for an appointment. Not everyone has access online. Automatic message on the phone line tells you that you can book an appointment in one of three ways... NHS App, Telephone or Online. This is completely untrue. Actually went physically into the clinic for a health check using the machine in reception (used to go to the nurse for this) and it was like the Marie Celeste! Two receptionists and nobody else sat waiting or moving through the practice. I reckon they're all just working from home calling patients who have managed to complete an online form. You wonder why there are so many misdiagnosis these days... Thinking to maybe change doctors or just use the walk-ins and A&E in the future.

I've only recently needed to use my doctor's recently. The reception staff try to get appointments but if there are none left then ring again the next morning. If it's not an urgent they can book in, in a few weeks time. They take some abuse from people so I understand them having their backs up and being short and sometimes rude to people, I've worked customer service and believe me people are rude!
I spoke with one lady and she thanked me for being kind and patient bless her, I was caller 14 so waited a little time but IT IS like this in almost EVERY doctors surgery!

The nurses that have taken my blood have been absolutely amazing, kind and even gentle! The doctors have rang or seen me when needed and they have helped me with my condition, sorted a sick note and medications and adviced A&E when needed. They have overall been amazing with my experience.

There are too many people these days so appointments are difficult to get a hold off but that's just the "norm" these days not like "back in the day" when there were less people in the world.

Not a perfect practice but a good one in my eyes. Speak how you would like to be spoken too. No matter how rude someone is to you, doesn't hurt to be kind. Maybe someone is having a bad day or have just been abused before it's your turn to approach them.

Removing human element from booking appointments may be streamlining for you but for patients with neurodivergence or ptsd it's a nightmare. We shouldn't have to jump through hoops for an AI to triage us. I've had enough misdiagnosis I don't trust a triage service I'd like to speak with my actual doctor . Shows 0 understanding of many of your patients to implement this system

I needed to make an appointment on behalf of my vulnerable brother, I’ve been told that you have to ring at 8am to get an appointment and we all know what a battle that system is!!

I’ve been told that there is no other way as ‘pre bookable’ appointments are not available at the moment.. I then asked if she knew when they’d be available again and was told no. So basically the only way to see a GP is to ring at 8 (people work etc, not everyone can do this) and battle with other patients to get an appointment! Realistically what will happen is that when you do get through to them at 8.10, they’ll tell you that all of the appointments have gone!! USELESS SYSTEM & USELESS SURGERY!

Raising a complaint. This practice is appalling and unfit for purpose. Impossible to book an appointment. The receptionist is useless and unhelpful. There is no way to get what I pay taxes for. Register elsewhere. An absolute disgrace
