I just wanted to share the fantastic experience my partner and I had at the clinic today, thanks to the wonderful nurse Frances. She conducted our travel vaccination consultation, and we couldn’t have been more impressed. She was incredibly thorough, explaining all the risks associated with our upcoming trip, and took the time to answer every question we had. Not only was she extremely knowledgeable, but she was also so kind, funny, and just a genuinely lovely person to talk to. Her warm and professional approach made the whole experience so pleasant, and we left feeling completely reassured and well-prepared.

My father in law surgery is fab, GPs are very thorough when he needs them and the communication is 10/10. Highly recommend

I moved to Burgess Hill 6 years ago and this surgery was ok. About 3 years ago it started to deteriate. At the present time it is the worst GP surgery I have ever been too.
They are inefficient, unorganised, not very helpful and I can't get an appointment. I am going to try and move to a different GP practice.

If I could give this surgery no stars, I would. The treatment I have received today from both the doctors (Dr Plant) and the surgery receptionist is despicable. My 3 year old daughter has been ill for over a month and they have palmed it off to no end. Cannot believe I put my trust in these so called medical professionals. Absolutely vile people.

Phone at 8:30 as requested 3rd in the queue. No appointments left? Then you have to put the severity of your health at the discretion of the over qualified receptionist to decide if you get an appointment. Shambles. Should be embarrassed.

Can't book appointments in advance any more, you can't get through on the phones when they open. They have the queuing system down for 45 minutes before opening it. At which point all the appointments are gone. So you ask for an emergency appointment and I get told "your emergency isn't good enough, we're saving that spot for someone who REALLY needs it!". The receptionist are rude, flippant and not helpful at all. Not to mention the doctors don't know what they are doing half the time. The doctors said they'd refer my partner to some extra help we waiting a year and a half to be contacted by this extra help. Only for the doctor to turn round and go "Oh no! I can't refer you to that, you have to refer yourself, I never would have said I'd refer you!". Even though in that year and a half we contacted the same doctor 3 or 4 times asking for the wait time for the referral and he went "Oh, I've already contacted them on your behalf, but I guess I can do it again."
Not to mention during covid I needed my implant removed because it was causing issues and soon to expire. They refused countless times saying they "currently aren't doing that procedure". Even though I know several women who had their implants changed at the same time I was asking for mine to be removed.
I've moved about quiet a lot and this is without a doubt one of the worst practices I've ever had fhe displeasure to deal with. I'll be looking for a different practice.

I have been a patient at Silverdale since birth and now 36 but since Dr Bird has left and the new practice manager has taken over the place is just totally inaccessible.

Such a shame as previously it was rated so highly. Im sad to leave as the nurses are great but sadly not being able to request certain doctors and the moody receptionist (they know who she is) have finally sent me elsewhere

Had a terrible experience especially with a certain doctor there. The receptionist made my 19 year old daughter cry recently when she was asking for medical help. I left this surgery a while ago and it was the best decision I ever made. I'm now trying to persuade my daughter to do the same!! If like me you have lifelong medical conditions, avoid this place like the plague. Sadly I can't give any less than 1 star. I feel that is overly generous for them.
