I have been using Signature Smiles for years.. I have to travel nearly an hour each way just to get to them because all local dentists are fully booked. And despite every time I went there it would be a new dentist (many occasions ive had a check up, then gone back for a filing as they reccomended.. only to be told its a new dentist, so id have to have another check up?).. I always went to my appointments. Unfortunately I had to cancel one appointment due to an accident at work and being the Engineering Manager.. I had to stay on site (this was 4/5 hours before the appointment) so re-scheduled for 4 weeks later.. unfortunately there was an accident on the road to Oswestry on my way there.. I called reception to explain that it was highly unlikely I'd make it in time as the road was stand still. I explained on the phone that I understand it's not thier problem and so offered to pay for the appointment even though I couldn't make it.. and would gladly pay again for the actual appointment needed. The receptionist just said that they would have to remove me from the practise and the manager would call me if he thought there was something he could do I get it.. missed appointments cost you money and time.. but I genuinely couldn't do anything about it.

Having worked in private dental practice for over 11 years I can't help myself compare how the practice is run and the quality of treatment.
I have found "Signature Smiles" to be basic but adequate.
They have been looking after my dental health for many years.
I have had 3 different dentists over this period and find that my current dentist Stephan professional and thorough with his treatment/advice.
It was a pleasure to meet Catherine (the hygienist) today. My treatment was carried out quite painlessly and I received good oral maintenance advice, a very positive experience.

I had an appointment today for an inlay after breaking a tooth to the gum line. Again, the receptionist was welcoming and friendly and the dentist and dental nurse did a great job in making my treatment pain free . I have extremely sensitive teeth so that's some feat. I'd like to thank the staff for making my dental visit stress free and painless. I hope the dentist I saw today stays with the practice.

I am basing this review from my visit on 23rd June 2021.
The receptionist was lovely and the hygiene therapist was excellent and the dental nurse made me feel at ease, as I am a nervous dental patient.
The hygiene therapist did a brilliant job at scaling and polishing my extremely sensitive teeth without any pain. A big thankyou to her.

Been at this dental practice for a number of years and don't think I've seen the same dentist more than twice. When I started going there it was very good but large turnover of staff made it very impersonal. Went in the once for a 6 months appointment at 17.50 to be told that the practice now closes at 17.30 and would have to make another, had to take time off work for this. Also been having pain in some teeth one of which definitely shows some decay to be told time and time again that nothing needs to be done and we'll see you in 6 months, not even a scale and polish. More recently I've had toothache which I told the dentist about in an emergency appointment to be told I would need root canal work and a crown, after getting a second opinion I was told that the tooth only needed filling. Would not recommend and certainly won't be going back as I've registered with another practice.

I have been here today with my 3 children and had a great experience. They were made to feel very relaxed and the dentist even played a little game with them, my eldest (who is 10) won a tube of tooth paste, they each got a sticker too. I am pregnant and also very anxious when it comes to the dentist but he made feel so comfortable. Fantastic experience all round.
