Once again I've had to chase them for a prescription, this is after going in person for an appt, an online form and a phone call ! It's such a shame to leave a bad review because the new nurse was nice, just maybe not enough training or communication from management on how the prescription process works! It should have been done by her but it wasn't. Once again I've had to waste my time chasing this up only to be told sorry. Getting a prescription should be straightforward, don't make us jump through hoops to get them!

Absolutely disgusting treatment. The receptionists are rude, obstructive and do NOTHING to help resolve a problem. Several times they haven't done a prescription, even on the day they're due and have left a chronically ill patient without pain medication. They tell you to put the prescription in and give "3 working days" which i means nothing because I put in my prescription a WEEK ago and it's still not done. It's so much hassle to move to another surgery, which could leave me waiting even longer in-between prescriptions because they say it takes a MONTH to register and move your files over. So I'm completely stuck and this is seriously affecting my mental health. I can't keep going through this every 2 weeks! Shame on the lot of you for how you treat ill patients !!

This doctors never answers its phone you just get left on automated calling. I have tried to ring Thanet road surgery 4 times last week and another 5 times this week to get my daughters test results ( which we was meant to receive 3 weeks ago) as she has been very ill. I can't get to the surgery as I am stuck in doors and cannot send anyone else as the information is confidential. So what are my options? leave my daughter and watch her get worse, then sue the NHS
I am in the process of changing doctors as this service is shocking.
I would give no stars if I could

Brilliant surgery as a whole. Jill and Sharon are amazing, knowledgeable, kind and caring nurses. Dr Corbit (sorry if misspelt) is a lovely man too
The e-consult thing has changed, it's much easier to fill out now and always get a response (usually the same day)

The only problem I have is getting through on the phone! I really feel for the people that don't have / can't use the online services to get advice / appointments 'cause Its a nightmare! - could be on hold for up to an hour (maybe over that but i lose patience hang up)
And the hold music is awful!

The worst surgery I have ever been to, put a prescription request in on Monday for anti depressants, receive a message 4 days later to make an appointment for a review, they dont answer the phone ever, will now run out of tablets.
Will have to find another surgery cant bear dealing with them.

Spent all that time doing a e consult for my 3 year old's watery eye (obviously not expecting to be seen so soon but hoping for an appointment for after Christmas if his eye was still bad or worse). Got told to see a pharmacist or go to urgent care! No wonder the NHS is a mess, we can't even get seen by a GP or nurse as they are sending us all to urgent care. Doctor at Thanet Rd surgery was not even interested in offering a telephone appointment for after Xmas to see how his eye is. Once again have been passed on to someone else to deal. Can't even get a phone call out of the drs here so good luck in getting seen.

Probably the best practice (Nurse) I have ever visited. Nurse Kathy is highly skilled and is very kind. She has not only treated my wound well but also helped by booking appointments. Thank you Kathy. It would have been very difficult to look after my wound and call GP for appointments Regularly.
