I had a smear test today which is never a fun experience but the nurse Sarah was really kind and kept me talking to distract from the difficult part. She was helpful and understanding with health advice and I felt safe with her. I'm very grateful it was her I had the appointment with today.

I visited the surgery with my wife on her appointment on the 28th November although I just mentioned that the self referral to see a physiotherapist is not fit for purpose and I give the reason. my wife has to do 3 self referrals for the same symptoms but different part of her body namely Arthritis, why did the doctor put it on my wife's personal record that her husband, said it not fit for purpose the doctor actually agreed in future I will not even speak and give any concerns when going with wife. In Scotland they won't use it because it is not fit for purpose and millions of taxpayers money is wasted, I would like to finish with a positive response that the doctor is especially very good I just can't understand why my comment is in my wife's personal notes

I called for a home visit for my mother on 9th July 2024. The pleasant and helpful receptionist I spoke to informed me that all the visits for that day were taken but someone could come out tomorrow, 10th July. I said that would be fine and asked what time the visit would be. I was told between 12pm and 2pm.

After 2.20pm today 10th July, my mother and I were still waiting. I called the surgery, explained the situation and was put on hold for a while. When the receptionist returned, I was told that the visit had been arranged for the 11th July. When I questioned this, I was told it was because the doctors triaged the visits and had booked it for the 11th.

I had made the same request last week for my mother, was told she would be seen the next day, and Phil duly arrived as promised, the following day. At no time was I told the visits were first triaged by the doctors and that the visit may not happen when expected.

If the home visits are triaged, when was the surgery planning to call us to let us know when the visit would happen?

Can I suggest that when a home visit is requested, the patients are given this "triage" information upfront and informed both that the home visit may not happen when we might expect it and that a phone call will be made to inform exactly when/if the visit will happen?

I look forward to the practice manager explaining the logic behind this process.

I have always been treated with care and consideration by Siam Surgery and GPs that I have engaged with over the years have been nothing but caring and compassionate, words cannot describe how thankful I am for all what they do. The Receptionists are always very friendly and polite but most of all efficient. I’ve been registered with Siam Surgery ever since I was born and I can’t fault the level of care that I receive from the practice. Again thank you for everything you do.

After running out of one of my prescriptions (due time unforseen circumstances), I rang to speak to the prescriptions team at 9am on Monday morning, I was told the item would be ready to pick up from my designated pharmacy after 4pm. Having had the spiel before and no end of chasing them up I decided to check at 5pm after not receiving a text message. I was told it was being done that minute. Roll onto 45 minutes later and I rang to check on progress at which point, you guessed it, it was being done that minute. Roll on another hour and, you guessed it, it was just being done. Now at 8pm I have no way of getting the medication I require before the morning and apparently sending off a prescription that has been previously prescribed gas been too monumental a task to complete in 11 hours.

This is the first time I've felt the need to make a complaint about the NHS and it's been an abysmal experience. If not getting a prescription results in hospital visits, you can understand wht the NHS is drained
