2nd REVIEW Aug 24. I don't understand the issues with Patient Access, the online portal that is supposed to eradicate the very dated paper prescription drop-offs at the practice to get your medication.

The practice continually tell me there are 'national issues' with Patient Access and that they don't always receive the medication requests coming through and you need to ring them up to tell them you've put a script through! I do this. The script still isn't issued! They then tell you the dispensary team will call, and you're on the list, but no call ever arrives! I recently had a text saying 3 meds were ready going back to 1st August, yet they were not even there when I went to pick up!!

I've been with this practice for a few months now. I never ever had a problem with my previous practice (in terms of Patient Access) and used Patient Access with them for years with no issues but I'm now finding it so frustrating because it's now causing delays and items I've not even asked for to be prescribed. I've Googled national problems with Patient Access but can not find any issues reported!

May 24. MY FIRST REVIEW. I must say I'm ? impressed with this medical practice so far! BELIEVE ME compared to the TELDOC practices in Telford, the service is impeccable. No waiting for hours on the phone, really friendly and helpful receptionists/dispensary staff, appointments pretty much straight away. My only issue is the patient access portal. There seems to have been an issue for over 12 weeks and nationally in scripts not going through. But.... unlike telford practices, you can order a script over the phone. I'm very happy.

I got an appointment after ringing daily for three months. Turns out I had kidney failure.
Here we go again. Can’t even get to speak to anyone, let alone make an appointment. Website doesn’t work and does not provide me with a password.
It seems crazy but are they really just waiting for us to die Feels like it.

When requesting my late Mother’s Medical Records. . I am met with coldness and no compassion or empathy from the 2 main Doctors. Rude arrogant people, you earn respect and you work for us . Remember that.

I was blown away by the great service I received today from this lovely little medical practice.
I suspected I had damaged the nerves in my hands.
I called to book an appointment and got through to a really friendly and professional lady on reception. Who booked me onto a appointment with the GP.
A couple of hours later I was on the phone to the doctor who after hearing my symptoms found me an appointment at 14:00 that same day.
Knowing how over stretched and under staffed the NHS is I expected a long wait in the reception.
Instead 14:00 I was called in to a young male doctor. whilst listening tentatively to my symptoms . He thoroughly examined my hands. Explained everything I needed to know. Offered lots of advice and referred me to a specialist clinic.
At a time where the NHS staff have been robbed of the pay rises they have earned 10 times over .
Under relentless pressure and budget cuts and still trying to pick themselves up from years of getting the nation through a pandemic.
To still be able to deliver such high standards of medical care I'm very impressed and very grateful.

I have been promised a phone call as soon as my blood test results back. And now receptionist saying that results are back but results i will get just next week. I have to wait Doctor phone call for all week. Really ?

As mentioned in other reviews, the telephone manner of the receptionist leaves a lot to be desired, the time taken to process prescriptions is also a further sign that the practice could do with more experienced and structured management (6 days to process) Dr Clark has always been very helpful and polite but the standards of the practice administration and operation needs real attention. I cannot in good faith recommend this practice to anyone.

Receptionist was passive aggressive towards me when I asked for an appointment simply because they closed in 45 mins. It wouldn’t have been hard to politely specify when their next appointment slot was, as my case is not urgent. Not really what I want when I’m just trying to get rid of my chronic back pain that I’ve had for weeks.

These days it seems impossible to book any kind of appointment, I have two youngsters needing to see a doctor but yet soon as I ring at half past eight the lines are full and no appointments available, it’s like the older gen seem to have the number on speed dial, it’s not on in my eyes always getting pushed to the bottom,
It’s a shame when the doctors are great but not when they take on shawbury and surrounding areas as such a small doctors, to much for them to handle I reckon
