Knee pain and dislocation

After suffering pain and dislocation of both knees since being a teenager to now in my thirties I thought this was just how it would be and as I got older I guessed it would get worse as what doesn’t!

How wrong was I!

I dislocated my left knee at the beginning of May 2022 and went to see Joe after he was recommended, he assessed me and explained what condition it appeared I had, it all made sense, starting at my feet working up.

I had weekly treatment for 6 weeks plus insoles made specifically for my feet, I am a different person now! No pain, can walk pain free for miles with my insoles in and incredibly my knees feel stable! I no longer get heel pain, knee pain or back ache after walking or exercising! We are now over 2 years on and I still book too see Joe just to have a top up and ensure everything is as it should be! So far so good everything has stayed stable!

I honestly can’t thank Joe enough for the support, treatment, explanation and overall kindness he has shown me over the last 2 years, I never thought physio and insoles could change so much but for me it truly has and I wish I had known this years ago as things could of been different for me!

Would highly recommend Joe and his team even for just a chat to see if they can help!

I came to Sharp Physiotherapy with knee and back pain from playing ice hockey, and I couldn't be happier with the results. Matthew took the time to assess my issues thoroughly and provided corrective exercises focused on stability and strengthening. I was using insoles due to over-pronation in my right foot, but I no longer need them after working with him.

My knee and back pain are gone, and I feel stronger than ever. I highly recommend Matthew's expertise to anyone looking for effective, targeted treatment.

From the very first appointment and conversation with Matthew Burke, it was clear he understood the source of my discomfort. Saw Shannon for my extremely painful arthritic hip and leg pain, after a couple of sessions she had me 95% back to normality.
Cannot thank her enough, she was very professional, explained everything and gave great advice with a future treatment plan to keep me pain free.

Great place to go.

Sam has been brilliant with my 12 year old son, Ian. Whether it's been a minor strain or a severe posterior ligament injury like he has now, he's caring, informative, and just generally a great guy. Ian is only a young boy but has total confidence in Sam, and hopefully, he will be back playing football soon.
