I phoned 111 on Tuesday and they put a referral through to surgery. Surgery was meant to call me back with in six hours.No one bothered,been two days. Not needed now, but that's not point. Surgery should of called me.

Came for a diabetic review. I came late as I had mistakenly thought my appointment was 15 mins later. An honest innocent mistake by a person with ADHD & a fear of these situations in general. The practioner Sara barked “ YOURE LATE” the moment I walked through the door when I had no idea that was the case. Then continued to be abrupt throughout the appointment. I’m considering escalating this complaint as I was shocked & upset for the remainder of the day.
I’ve previously had decent service here from all other staff so I was staggered by this.
No doubt she will plead ignorance or innocence because it happened behind closed doors.

I am extremely disappointed with the service at Shakespeare Road GP. My father, a diabetic and British citizen, was inexplicably removed from their patient list without any prior notification. He last collected his insulin prescription in late April. At no point was he informed of any issues with his account or that he would be made “inactive.” As a result, his essential insulin prescription was stopped, and the practice is refusing to issue a new one unless he re-registers in person. This is despite the fact that my father is currently abroad and will not return to the UK for another six months.

When we explained the urgency and the health risks involved, the staff showed no concern or willingness to help. They suggested he purchase insulin in a foreign country instead, which is not only impractical but also completely unacceptable given his entitlement to free medication under the NHS. The lack of care and understanding shown by this practice is appalling. Their negligence and disregard for patient welfare could have serious consequences.

I strongly advise anyone to reconsider before registering with this practice. Their service is unreliable, and they do not prioritize patient care.

This is the second time I'm leaving a 1 start review after having been contacted previously and asked to remove it. For the second time in the past few weeks, there have been issues with appointment getting booked. Firstly, I had been informed an appoitment was booked, however after following up as it did not appear on my NHS app I was told no one had booked anything. This then had to be rebooked but at a later date than initally told. Now again, after having a phone appointment booked I was not contacted. Only after calling the practice, was I informed that it was cancelled due to the GP that had been assigned the call back was not knowledgeable enough on the area to be discussed. This is now adding delays, and offering an absolutely abysmal experience. I was advised that a note had only come through just as I called, however the appointment was booked days ago and the GP responsible for the callback should not be realising they are not suitable for the call back on the same day. I will also be looking to take these complaints further through the Ombusman as looking at the reviews I am unfortunately not the only one with complaints yet nothing seems to change.

Shocking service! Absolutely disgusted by the service I have been offered. Requested consultation by phone or email, sent pictures to show what was the problem ( eye area) and got a phone call consultation for two weeks later, which is completely unacceptable! I had to result to Online Boots service, which is not for free! Question is, where does my tax payer money goes to?

Doctors who don't know anything. Zero help from staff. The people working at the reception are not nice, not helpful, they always do everything with great grace. I do not recommend the clinic. Bad approach to people, they never help, everything is always fine, that's what they say. The person at the reception is an older lady with long brown hair and is always complaining about everything. He works there out of favor, not to help people. Very bad experience

Rang up with a pretty serious problem, got told if its an emergency then I’ll get a call back if not it’ll be in the next week that I’ll talk to someone.
Absolutely the most useless and disgusting doctors I’ve ever been registered too.
If I could give -stars then I’ll be giving a -5

Really disappointed ☹️. I submitted my registration to the surgery almost a month ago, and they still haven't processed it. I called the surgery twice and they are always saying that they don't have my details and they will come in touch with the registration team to look into this for me. Seriously, it is ridiculous to be treated this way.
