My daughter was a resident at Scarlet House for 14weeks before she died aged 57years with cancer. For all her time there she received outstanding care and friendliness from all the staff. The nursing she received was exceptional and cannot be praised too highly,
The food she was given was varied and of goog quality and their cakes and biscuits amazing.
Family and friends visited every day and there was always a warm and friendly greeting at reception and any enquiry was always treated promptly and efficiently.
As a family we know that we could not of chosen a better place for Christine to have spent her last weeks.Many thanks to all at Scarlet House for the love and care you give.

I visited Scarlet House for the first time to see a friend who had just moved in, I was greeted by the reception and I explained why I was there. The home manager came out of her office and walked me through the home to see my friend. The home was clean and vibrant. Such a lovely atmosphere and great welcome. My friend looked well cared for and happy. Would definitely recommend. Thank you for my visit.

My (96 years old) dad had been living in sheltered accommodation for the last 10 years and coping quite well when he began to suffer with dementia and mobility problems (Jun-21). I looked at a few care homes in the area, and Scarlet House ticked all the boxes. Luckily, Katerina could accommodate my dad at very short notice after he suddenly went down hill.

I have to say, that the care he received in Scarlet House was first class and the staff were always very caring and helpful with my dad, and his visitors.

Unfortunately, he continued to go down hill and passed away in his sleep (Oct-21). The staff that were with him at the end, were brilliant and kept me informed of the situation.

With hindsight, I should have got my dad into Scarlet House a few months earlier, as I think he would have handled the transition to his new home better, if he had been in better health.

I can only thank all the wonderful staff at Scarlet House for all they have done for my dad and allowing me to relax in the knowledge that he was being well cared for.

Really happy with how dad has a home at scarlett house. The staff are all so so lovely, every part of the team - from the front desk, to the carers and nurses! They genuinely all take such an interest in dad and his welfare. Thank you guys so much, you know who you all are! It really helps me and my brother rest easier knowing dad has got some people there for him when we can't always be with him.

It took us (the family) a long time to make the decision that mum was best served by going into a Care Home. Meetings and telephone calls with Katerina, prior to mum's admission were always very informative and factual. In March, mum arrived at Scarlet House and we took a deep breath. We should not have worried - mum has settled in well. She is happy, talkative and has made so many friends. The staff are excellent with her and any issues are raised and resolved quickly and professionally. Oh - and she loves her new "house", the Cinema, Exercise classes and just sitting enjoying a nice latte in the garden. She has it made!!!!!

As a temporary measure my Mother in Law spent 7 weeks, 11 Sep - 29 Oct, at Scarlet House.
Mum was made to feel very welcome and she soon settled down and enjoyed her stay there.
She found the staff very helpful, kind and patient. My wife and her sisters found the manager, Katrina, excellent in accommodating them with their visits to Mum. Her stay at Scarlet House helped Mum with her transition to living in a care home permanently. A five star place to live!
