I can't fault the staff on Downton Ward or their care for my dad . He has been with them 6 weeks and they always treat him with respect. Bit of a lack of presence as far as the doctors are concerned as I am still waiting to talk to the Dr that diagnosed him. Springs restaurant is very good value for money but you need to pay by card no cash allowed. The cleaning leaves a lot to be desired as there was blood on my dad's tv for 2 weeks until I cleaned it myself but I really think the staff deserve all the credit

My daughter was admitted, through A & E, for emergency surgery. A huge shock for us as a family but the care she received from A & E through to the surgeons was extraordinary. It would be fair to say that we experienced everything from housekeeping, to portering and beyond, finishing on Britford Ward. Thank you so much for your care and gentleness to a very scared young lady and her family. We feel very fortunate to have such a wonderful hospital within our reach.

I would like to thank all of the staff that dealt with me on my recent visit to A&E. They were all very kind and caring. I want to give a special thanks to the staff in AMU, where I was admitted. Because it is a short stay ward, they are constantly dealing with new patients, and having to make and remake beds. They were all so very caring and hard working, nothing was too much trouble. I can't thank them enough. Also thanks to medical team and the MRI team. Everyone I met treated me with care and kindness.

There is no free onsite parking, disabled parking is very minimal and spread out.
I had a Sunday appointment with a mobile scanner and couldn't register my blue badge for the site as all of the admin offices were closed.

Awful cold unwelcoming AE.department I had an Injured foot with 2 painful fractures. Told I had only used Salisbury AE as a convenience for less personal impact and I should have hobbled to primary care on my injured foot where there are no Xray facilities or any orthopaedic care. Made to feel a nuisance Luckily Xray department highlighted the report to a lovely concerned fracture clinic where I received treatment

I have never received anything other than first class care. Staff always pleasant, polite, caring and have loads of empathy. We are so lucky to have such excellent NHS care.
