Today I experienced the Infrared sauna and red light therapy at Sacred Sauna. It's a wonderful setting and Jo is a very welcoming and knowledgeable host. It was my first time using either of these modalities and I was particularly impressed with the sauna. I've left the session feeling refreshed and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for relaxation.

Enjoy regular trips to the Sacred Sauna when visiting the South West. This is a sanctuary away from busy town and city life in a lovely Georgian village.
As a runner and cyclist, the red light therapy and massage table has been great for my lower back. Enjoyed the infra-red sauna too! The science shows it’s doing deep work to repair and rejuvenate cells. It also feels great, like sitting on a warm beach and soaking up the sun. Preferred it to a conventional sauna as I could relax for longer and it’s good to know the benefits are deeper too.
I like that it’s s family run business. Jo is a really friendly host and made me feel right at home, straight away. The tasty tea and fresh chilled towel hit the spot. If you need a recharge and some well deserved time to yourself, or as a couple, this is ideal. ❤️ it!

We had such a lovely spa experience at Sacred Sauna with my husband recently. I got it as a Christmas present for my husband but ended up going with him as it was too good to be missed. So glad we went, it was such a treat! We felt incredibly relaxed and rejuvenated after the sauna session and had a back massage as well on the massage bed which was really fun and worked wonders. We've never tried an infrared sauna before, but were pleasantly surprised. It was so much more comfortable and bearable than a traditional sauna, you could breathe easily, the heat didn't make us dizzy and it didn't make us sweat excessively. Despite the 60 degrees inside it felt like a very pleasant day on a sunny beach when being on holiday. We could listen to some ambient music on Spotify as well, this has helped us unwind even more (Netflix was another option). There were cold peppermint towels and a selection of healthy drinks to refresh us afterwards. Jo was a wonderful host, very friendly and welcoming. The studio is easy to find in the centre of Milverton, it’s very pleasantly decorated and you've got full privacy with a view to a nice garden. We will definitely come back soon and recommend it to our friends.

A super relaxing and healing experience! I saw Jo during a national tennis tournament and it was my first time trying red light therapy. I would highly recommend it to other high level athletes for enhanced recovery.
