My Grandmother was a patient at Rutland House, and I cannot thank them enough for the care and attention they paid to her. They were incredibly diligent with her needs as she was housebound, and any issues they had with her care were immediately raised with the family to keep us all aware. A truly fantastic team.

I would recommend Rutland House surgery. All the staff including the Doctors and Admin staff are fantastic. The Practice Manager MJ is always on hand to help if it’s needed. Zak helped me with a referral and actually called me to tell me that it had been accepted.
Over the years I have had problems from time to time but it seems that they have an excellent team in place that understand the needs of a patient. Please keep up the good work!

I know it's not perfect but in general our experience as a family has been that you do definitely get well-looked after if there is something wrong. The doctors there are all very good indeed, as is the lovely nurse. I have only had positive experiences.

the practise manager and staff that answer the phone should be ashamed of them selfs they hung up on him on multiple accusations they are rude disrespectful no empathy what so ever … never any call back when asked and the Practise manager needs to manage his staff and not be their friend…. They so unprofessional what a let down this practise has become.

Our nurse’s asthma review was incredibly thorough; myself and two children were each helped considerably with asthma management, technique and updated prescriptions. She also helped my son dress some nasty cuts, following a fall on the way to the surgery for the appointment! Huge thanks for looking after us all.

I have been in this surgery for over 15 years, but unfortunately, yesterday's encounter with the receptionist left me feeling unwelcome and disheartened. Despite my distress during the call, she said that I could not get an appointment unless I disclosed the reason I needed to see the doctor, which contradicts my understanding that such a matter is personal. I was not comfortable disclosing this information. Even when I explained my situation, she seemed dismissive due to the pressure, stating that no appointments were available. I explained that it was not a routine results check, but she was unwilling to hear.
This left me audibly tearful and frustrated. She stated that the doctor would, therefore, call me later on that day.
When I followed up later that day, the new receptionist was unaware of the request for a callback, as the earlier receptionist made no record.
I was so upset and frustrated, and he said because of a cancellation, he would book me for a call, which I received at the end of the day.
The receptionist's behaviour not only reflects poorly on the individual but also leaves a lasting negative impression on my overall experience. No one should feel obligated to tell the reason for your call to get an appointment. As far as I am aware, it goes against patient-doctor confidentiality, and experiencing such pressure left me feeling upset.

Shockingly bad. Staff have been consistently rude and unbothered. Its like they don't care about anything that happens there.

Had a daughter apply for an autism assessment. She was on the waiting list for 3 years and then this surgery called to inform us that someone working for them didnt sign off her paper fundings....meaning she'd have to start the whole process again.

Today they informed us theyre switching to a system where neither doctors nor the receptionists will be able to book appointments to "streamline appointments in order of importance".
