Took some paper for the hedgehogs and some scrub clothing and gloves to help staff look after the animals
Took some more paper and cat and dog food.
Wonderful place looking after our wildlife many thanks Rachel. Took some more paper and scrubs along with some old but good dish cloths.

Had one of our hedgehogs come out very early today looking a bit thin so we decided to take her to O&F to have it checked out, Joe checked it out and informed us that it was a female with a medium weight but a little dehydrated. Many thanks Joe for the info and suggestions to ensure the hogs wellbeing. Always great service here for our wildlife.

More paper for the hedgehogs and some cat food as well Simon and Lorraine greeted us and thanked us for the supplies now that winter is coming.

Amazing place, they have taken in two juvenile hedgehogs we had our garden for the winter as they aren't big enough after so many places said they were full. They thanked me for taking them in, I'm certain it's the other way round! So happy to take them there and see they are in the best hands.

They are very busy so may not answer the phones straight away, after you speak to them the best thing to do is drive there and take the animal yourself if you can (there is advice on their website about which animals you can take in). The centre is at the nature reserve so you have to go through a gate that can be opened). We were confused for a while and thought we couldn’t get through as the signs aren’t too clear.
Staff very helpful and you can get a reference number to get updates on the animal.

We have taken a young hedgehog there before who was about during the day and too small as weighed under 500 grams so wouldn’t survive the winter, they looked after it all winter and then they released it into the wild during the spring.

We have also taken a young house Martin who was released a few days later after getting enough strength and we have taken 5 more young hedgehogs this season who are also being looked after by them so that they survive the winter. They have a charity lottery and can set up monthly donation, they also have an Amazon Wishlist if you can support them to continue the amazing work they do (more info on their website).

Very helpful when I phoned for advice on an orphaned young pigeon. I took it into the rescue and they were so nice. I really felt confident that they would take good care of it.

The staff were brilliant. They were the only ones to help me with a beautiful fancy pigeon that all the fancy pigeon society didn't want to know. Although not injured and not a ferrel they took him on. He was a very unusual fancy pigeon. I would have liked to return him to his owner but the ring numbers weren't registered in England. I can't thank them enough.

Absolutely fantastic! Came to the rescue of a little pigeon that decided to come down our chimney! I rang oak and furrows and they came out to us within 30 mins, and took him back to the charity. Brilliant thank you, great work
