The hospital feels like an art museum lol. Lots of paintings everywhere and then I found a stunning room by the cafe. Smells very clean, looks clean. Modern bathrooms. Thanks for looking after my uncle Phil!

Would give it no stars if I could, majority of staff came across as incredibly rude in the maternity ward. A couple ladies and the gentleman on the desk were polite throughout the experience and they don’t deserve this rating but majority came across as extremely arrogant and outright rude. These staff unfortunately had a greater impact than the polite staff. I expect a lot better from people who are held in such a high regard like nhs workers.

I can't rate this hospital high enough. Having seen various doctors and nurses, every single member of staff were exceptionally. Helpful, friendly, kind, supportive and happy to spend time explaining everything. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, you are all a true credit to the NHS

Had to have a colonoscopy and my first visit to a hospital to have anything done. Was really worried about the procedure and the nurse who first took my details and did a general assessment could tell. She was very reassuring and so were the 3 people in the theatre room. It can be daunting unless it's a procedure you have had experience in. From arrival to leaving was roughly 70min. Had the option for gas and air or the needle. Opted for gas and air but didn't require. The staff take your mind off by talking to you and asking questions about your week. Great experience, well done all. The NHS don't get enough credit. We are lucky we have it.

Me and my husband have spent most of the day at the ruh after being referred from the gp. I just wanted to say how wonderful the staff are at the ambulatory care section of the hospital are. Wonderful nurses and an amazing doctor (I didn't get any names unfortunately) but they were all so lovely and made us feel informed and in very safe hands. Thank you for looking after us and for being such a great team x

Admitted today as a day patient for a prostate biopsy. Staff were friendly, caring and reassuring. The procedure was unpleasant but I was helped to get through it by a member of the team talking to me throughout and helping me with my breathing and to stay calm.
I have nothing but praise for the RUH. Thank you so much for looking after me so well

Never at my best in this establishment but what an incredible experience. On this occasion, mauled by a dog: x-rays, anaesthesia, relocation, analgesia, tetanus, antibiotics, wound management, splint, advice, fracture clinic, hugs, sympathy, chocolate, water.
Free of charge. Oh, and the ambulances were busy so the paramedics sent me a taxi. I think I was maybe in shock at the time so I’m not sure whether I manifested sufficient gratitude. I am very very grateful.

Had horrendous pain Sunday morning, rang 111 service was advised to get to RUH within 2 hours.
A&E was incredibly busy and the staff were outstanding, smiling, apologising for wait times and doing their very best to help I had an medical emergency in waiting room so queue jumped.
Surgical team were also outstanding. Everybody working in SAU were brilliant, kind, enthusiastic and assets to the RUH.
Above all the members of staff I encountered were chatty, helpful and made a painful experience pleasant. True ANGELS of the NHS
