I was transferred here from Fairfield hospital as my 12 year old had suspected appendicitis. The hospital is lovely and clean, the waiting areas are all nice and very child friendly and welcoming. The staff were the best hospital staff I have ever come across. Surgeons, radiologists, doctors, nurses, reception staff and even the general ward staff and security, were ALL amazing. We were there for 4-5 hours and it was the least stressed or impatient I have ever been in a hospital. Everyone was so kind and friendly. Things were explained fully. I just want to say I really appreciate everyone who helped us tonight. Thank you so much. However, hopefully we will never be visiting again haha

Hospital staff are good but the parking attendants are awful.

I was waiting for a disabled bay at Manchester children's hospital when a parking attendant knocked on my window. He told me their was a space and shown me where I could park. So I parked up and attended my daughter's appointment with her. Up on my return I seen I was given a ticket. I went to look for the attendant to ask why I'd received the ticket! I couldn't find the same attendant who shown me where to park but asked another attendant who I seen why I got the ticket. He asked if I'd parked where the butterfly logo is and I replied yes. He then informed me that them spaces are reserved for permit holders. I didn't even know them parking spaces existed until the other attendant told me to park their.... Awful behaviour from their employees to give me a ticket. Next time they tell me to park somewhere I'll protect myself and my wallet by punching them in the mouth as means of self defense as he just robbed me.

My great grandaughter was hit by a car outside school this morning by someone who ran a red light at a crossing, she was blue lighted to the hospital. I can't fault the care she had, the staff were really good, they spoke to her not her mum. They explained every test & why they were doing it so she understood exactly what was happening & what symptoms to look out for when she came home. 5 stars! Many, many thanks to the staff.

I came into A&E with my three year old child after being referred from Salford Royal Hospital for a pre-surgical check up. After coming home we both caught a savvier eye infection which has left us in so much pain for days. This was because of how unsanitary the A&E waiting area was. It was dirty and smelled disgusting, even the toilet were not clean and very unhygienic. Overall I was very disappointed and left angry from this visit

Ward 76 staff are amazing apart from one. The ward is absolutely freezing. Infact cold air coming from the vent. My son has 4 blankets. I'm in bed with a coat on. When you have sick kids please have some consideration.
