We have lived in the village for 10 years now. Being almost pensioner age we have used this pharmacy many times. The guy who runs it has always been polite and friendly. The service and advice has always been spot on. We are lucky to have this in the village.

The man that runs this pharmacy is so full of his own self importance it’s unbelievable, I’ve never met such a rude man ever and being in a job working with people who are unwell he should be happy jolly and friendly and most importantly at least pretend to care, but no he looks down his nose at you , doesn’t make eye contact when speaking with you anything you ask for is to much effort and he is rude and unprofessional. I have now moved to a professional friendly pharmacy

The Pharmacist who runs this store is probably one of the most rudest people I've ever had the misfortune to encounter.
I will never step foot in there again. I now travel to a Pharmacy outside of the village.
completely unnecessary ill-mannered behaviour from an arrogant man.

Guy that works there has a terrible attitude problem. Went in to get advice on our child's rash which included a rash on his bottom and not only did the man seem like doing his job was a total inconvenience but proceeded to talk to myself and my wife like we were stupid.

Moreover instead of taking us to somewhere with a little privacy he expected me to drop my 2 year olds trousers and nappy in a shop full of strangers!

When we said we didn't think it was chickenpox his very blunt and condescending answer was "well you've answered your own question then” and refused to put it in writing for the nursery....then spent longer telling us to call the pharmacy than it would have taken to write a note.

I would suggest a new career for this guy, one without having to talk to the public as clearly he isn't suited to it

This pharmacy was given a 3 star rating as no official car park which means visits are difficult. When inside on my visit this week there was another customer who was being served who was being permitted to wear mask on chin not covering mouth or nose without comment from the pharmacist, in fact they were talking/chatting together less than a meter apart with no concern about Covid restrictions or my wellbeing. Also when I was being served I wasn't kept informed of what was happening when the pharmacist disappeared out back after looking me up on the system so I was confused as to whether I should carry on waiting or leave.

And even worse is they don't open at the weekends when those of us who work need to collect prescriptions.

Can't believe some of the review/s Posted here. My wife and I [both in our 70's use this pharmacy on a regular basis [in fact ever since the normal use of the local surgery's pharmacy was discontinued many years ago] The staff give a service which is and always has been, superb. Friendly, helpful and efficient over and above what may have been expected. If there was such a provision for 100 star rating they would get ours - and 20mins wait for opening to get meds which keep me alive is not too long in my opinion perhaps we have a greater degree of tolerance than some

Absolutely diabolical customer service. Shop opened over 20 mins late by a man, that frankly looked like he could not be bothered to be there. Elderly customers amongst others kept waiting outside in the winter cold. He then wandered around like a sloth switching the lights on (despite there already being 2 other women locked inside the shop with the lights off) - no apologies for being late to open.
Simple prescription put in, but out of stock. The sloth man then told me to come back in the afternoon. Went back in the afternoon as directed, but still no stock had arrived. Was told to come back the following morning. Went back the following morning as directed to find the disorganised bunch had now lost my prescription! What a complete bunch of amateurs handling people’s medication! Genuinely shocked...

Staff a friendly and helpful. Only reason for not giving 5 stars is the opening time. Very restrictive for those that work. If they would just consider a couple of hours on a Saturday morning for prescriptions it would make a massive difference.
