Rowcroft employs someone to stand in their parking lot and chase you away with threats of £100 fine, even though I had an appointment at 5 valleys and there was no nearer parking. Perhaps a little give and take with for people using NHS services would go a long way, but of course that isn't as important as making sure some corporation makes money from the parking lot.

Not happy with the receptionist at the surgery because they are expecting me to pay for my medication which I Have told them several times I cannot pay for medication. I don’t have to pay because I am on benefits. I have a have a disability. And I cannot afford it and I’m not impressed with the receptionists they need to be trained on how to speak to people who have autism this needs to be addressed

I had an appointment yesterday for a bad headache that started a week ago. The appointment was with Dr Christina (forgotten last name) and I had had two previous appointments with her that had not been the best so I felt very uncertain. When we got into the room I felt like she wasn’t giving me enough time to speak and made me feel very unheard. I felt like she didn’t ask and do enough before she decided to come to the conclusion that I was just a lazy teenage girl who spends to much time on her phone. I came out of the appointment feeling very unheard and upset

I returned to the area in 1997 and chose to register with Rowcroft Medical Centre. I've had a couple of health blips including a recent one which I haven't quite got to the root of yet. Having said that, confident that I soon will do. Patience is a virtue. Fairly recently I began to see Dr Worrall and he is truly amazing. In fact the very best GP I have ever seen (alongside the Military doctors during my Raf days and time overseas). He's a great communicator, empathetic and quick to take action. Also the only one who was willing and happy to help me come off Olanzapine and Certraline which I had taken for far too long, when everyone else said no stay on it for ever!! I cannot recommend him highly enough because he is the No 1 top GP at Rowcroft Medical Centre ever. One in a million.

We were travelling to Stroud for 2nights and my 3.5month old son was poorly. The front desk receptionist was super helpful and managed to get me a same day gp appointment as driving to the hospital 10mins away would have taken too long. Thank you so much ❤️

The receptionists aren’t caring or understanding, they’re probably in the wrong job considering you should have empathy towards patients calling up. Instead all they have is attitude and a refusal to listen to you.
They answer the phone with an apathetic attitude. Not great for people with poor mental health, it’s like they want to nudge you over the edge.
I also don’t believe they should be able to ask such probing questions about why you require an appointment, some people barely feel comfortable sharing with a doctor, let alone a receptionist with no medical training. But you feel as though you have to share in order to actually get an appointment. Disgraceful

Just had a phone call from Dr Worrall checking up on my health regarding an issue relating to a persistent cough resulting in specks of blood in my sputum. Saw him in March where he did the basic checks and ordered a chest X-ray which proved negative. This phone call 8-weeks after the consultation - brilliant!
