Please please do not put your loved ones in this place.
Neglect is an understatement.
My dad went into Rosevilla and over the course of 6 weeks he was left to become seriously malnourished. He is now in hospital.
He had an injury to his face which was never cleaned or dressed, we as his family had to take supplies and do it ourselves. He was never bathed or showered in the time he was there. We were lied to about his care and nutrition. Personal property was lost or taken. I witnessed residents being sworn and shouted at, these are venerable people who need care. There is certainly no care in this care home.
It's run down, furniture and fittings are worn and damaged. We were promised they were mid re-furb and that things would soon be better. Absolute nonsense. An absolute disgrace of a place making money from desperate situations.
I'd give a zero rating if Google would allow it.
Following my review the care home Owners have wrote a threatening letter to my mum. They want to sue her, because i wrote this review. A woman whose husband ended up in hospital with malnutrition after being in thier care and is still there 8 weeks later . A woman who did everything she could to assist with his care. As for lost earnings...his room had a new occupant within a day of us telling them he wouldn't be back. And they still have no empty rooms. What have they lost ?
Instead of threatening women and families, maybe thier energy should be going into improvements that are absolutely necessary.

This is a terrible, unorganised and short staffed carehome. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to work there or send family members there. They underpay teenagers thinking we will not notice & get away with it.
They go against the code & conduct such as-

Regulation 11-
Service users can be forcefully put to bed or in there rooms and forcefully washed and showered when it is not in there best interest, but the staffs best interest instead.

Regulation 18-
Understaffed to the point where cleaners and cooks are delivering personal care and care to residents, new staff are not receiving correct training. Not enough staff on shifts to deliver correct care to residents.

Regulation 13-
Residents are being left in dirty beds, dirty pads and not receiving correct care, Residents wearing catheter bags are being left without bags and double padded instead with incontinence pads. Residents are being left in the same incontinence pads for hours at a time due to short staffing.
