Has gone seriously downhill over the past months. Not patient-oriented and they don't care. Bring back doctors that cared about their patients and doing their job with dedication.
6 weeks to get an appointment through the online form, 6 weeks. It's gone from not urgent to now urgent you've left it so long.

Update: the receptionist is nice, that is the one redeeming feature, because the practice as a whole, in how they work, in how they handle processes, is shockingly bad and just backwards.

Used to have some level of service but is being systematically destroyed by anti NHS policies.

Staff are very polite and professional if you’re lucky enough to be seen.

We live in a country that is racing towards a two tied system. The main message from this surgery if you are ill is “please don’t call us”
We have no appointments available for anyone and would prefer you to just go away and suffer quietly.

Please consider private medical insurance.

If you do manage to attend the clinic the staff are very professional and supportive but it is so difficult to get in.

Appalling phone and booking systems. The phone line has a lot of dead ends and useless droning information to put you off calling back. The phone queue system doesn't work and you often get stuck at #1 indefinitely or just hung up on when you reach the front. All appointments are somehow full all the time.

Receptionists seem absolutely dull to this and I'm not surprised. The best they can do is point you to a form hidden on the website or to alternative number to leave a message. You can tell from their voice that they know the system is absolute dung.

Today I needed to request a GP appointment for my son, but because he is not actively dying today I have to fill out a web form to request an appointment. The web form is only accessible between 8am and 1pm.. why? Now I have to find time to do this from my phone at work. Just accept the form now and stick it in tomorrows queue. After 1pm you get the mocking message: "If you need more urgent help, call your GP". Chance would be a fine thing.

There is zero chance that anyone close to the management at this surgery has actually used this phone line or booking system.

Update: After 8 weeks of waiting for a phone appointment my family moved GP, spoke to a Dr on the phone the next day and had an appointment at the time of our choosing the following week. Don't stand for it, change practice.

Terrible my sin has an ingrowing toenail needs antibiotics told when I rang they can't book him in for an appointment , I can't even fill in the online form until tomorrow as it's closed , why is it closed when it's online ? So have to wait till tomorrow to fill in a form rather than the receptionist just taking my word for it that my son needs to see a doctor and doing things the old fashioned way and just letting me make an appointment over the phone . How do they even know people have access to the internet not everybody does . No wonder people are getting so ill and no wonder this surgery has so very few stars on reviews . Where is the old fashioned service ? There is none it's a nightmare to see a doctor nowadays they just want you to sit at the walk in centre for hours and hours , people have to go to work please understand and just give people set appointment times and make seeing our doctors straight forward again like it used to be .

Not good enough. Patients shouldn’t be turned down when they need to see a doctor and shouldn’t have to overreact when they’re not feeling well to receive treatment. If you’re a doctor and you can’t listen, you’re in the wrong line of work. Same for the reception staff. People want their problems solved. Not to be told they’re idiots. And a few side notes to all the “doctors” - firstly, painkillers are not a good solution for permanent problems. Please stop telling people this. It suppresses pain and allows for problems to escalate without noticing. Secondly, please learn something about nutrition. Thirdly, please make it easier for people to get referrals to be seen by specialists. GPs are so obviously out of depth on anything that’s not the common cold. Fourthly, please make it available for us to access our blood test results online so we can share with a paid private medical care when you fail us again.

Service is horrendous. Unfortunately I have had to stick with this gp due to my location. Since I have used them I have suffered with many health conditions that had to be diagnosed abroad which of course I had to pay for and take time off work to somehow sort out including polycystic ovaries, skin conditions and lung conditions. They have refused to refer me to a specialist for at least 6 months of discomfort, unless I tried at least 6 different medications on my skin like a guineapig. It was obvious they had no idea what they were doing and the medications were actually agrevating the issue as it was an autoimmune disease. I have had the convo of "do you want this medication/antibiotic?" To me then wonder "why are you asking me ? Do I need this? You are the doctor that gets paid the big bucks to tell me that". I ended up going to a specialist in greece biting the bullet and paying for all of it but I'm now no longer suffering. I pay for treatment as well as I work so it's very frustrating when you can't get any services I am now looking to go to a private hospital clinic and just give my money to them.

I was previously sent to the emergency clinic around 3 times because they don't want to help, I was then told off by the staff there as they shouldn't have never sent me there. They said this is a reoccurring issue with this practice and that next time I remind them that before sending me over there. So now I have become a third party messenger.

Connor went above and beyond to help us with an urgent prescription. Even to the point of advising us of local traffic problems for our journey to the pharmacy!

I called in and they gave me an appointment for the next day, or they said I could come in that night. I came there on the day and they saw me within 5 minutes of me being sat down, checked me out thoroughly and they gave me a prescription I could pick up on the day.
