I have found the receptionists very lovely, supportive and always happy to help. I have had no issues booking appointments over the phone, which is refreshing. The surgery is on a main bus route and the practice its self is welcoming and nice to attend."

I had an endoscopy today with Living Care. I was extremely nervous but the nurses were fantastic and put me at ease. I had Kate,Pam and another lady (so sorry didn't catch your name). All were lovely. I don't want to repeat the experience but they made it bearable. Thank you.

This practice seems to put as many obstacles as possible in the way of patients actually getting medical advice or an appointment.

1. Impossible to get through in the 8.00am scramble for appointments
2. Receptionists who are not medically qualified triaging patients and just telling them to 'go to A&E' - when it's not an urgent/life threatening situation but something that does require medical attention/diagnosis/treatment
3. Airmid app frequently not working or locking out patients
4. Never any 'book on-line' appointments available when it is working
5. Patchs system only takes a limited number on non-urgent requests

I can’t honestly believe that Reception staff are instructing patients to attend A&E when you are already under the care of a GP at the MC and all I am asking is for the Duty GP to telephone call me at some point before the end of the working day re reducing medication and me feeling physically unwell.
Because I stood my ground as a patient who have rights to holistic care .. I’m told I’m shouting. Not shouting at all just asking you to send a message to the Duty GP as it’s going to be the weekend and I’m clearly concerned how I’m feeling after the GP has advised reducing medication.
Not helpful at all saying they can’t do this. Can’t do that! Where is the PM at this MC
My GP I see is lovely and helpful. I know the Reception Staff get a hard time and I feel it’s the Senior Partners who need to look at most of these reviews and realise it’s not a positive experience at times and patients are suffering and should not be told to go to A&E over things a GP can effectively sort.
So upset and let down.

I honestly do not understand how this surgery is not 5 stars. Every doctor I've met has been compassionate, given sound support and advice through some really difficult periods with my family including a late miscarriage. They have gone above and beyond, twice in the past 8 months allowing me to change my baby in the drs office. The nurses have been equally brilliant, allowing me to breastfeed my baby during vaccinations. The reception staff have an excellent manner when you call the surgery and its been so rare that I haven't been able to get an appointment.

Literally my only complaint would be there is no dedicated baby changing but I am sure if you asked at the front desk they would provide a room or space for you.

Thank you! ❤️

I had to have a gastroscopy and colonoscopy with Living Care today. I was absolutely terrified at the thought of the gastroscopy especially but the staff could not have been better. They knew I wanted sedation so spent a very long time trying to find a suitable vein for the cannula, for which I was very grateful. From the initial talk with Victoria through both procedures with Angela, Stacy and Pradeep, they could not have shown more care and understanding. They made a very anxious experience into a completely bearable one. Thank you so, so much.

I feel as if I could write a novel on this place however to keep things brief....

Why are they constantly changing the goal posts on how to get appointments? Bringing in new systems and apps for people to download which turn out just to be another communication opportunity to tell patients they have no appointments and are unable to be any use whatsoever.

I have always been registered to this surgery as far back as I can remember and always lived within its catchment area however, since covid the place may as well have closed as I haven't been able to get near the place since.
They have developed some sort of idea to send people everywhere else, which in turn makes it absolutely pointless having a catchment area and local surgery.....

I mean the best situation they ever had at this surgery was the walk in service years ago and sometimes you might be there for 3 or 4 hours waiting to then be told "All walk in services are over for the day now, you will just have to come back tomorrow" which was extremely annoying if you didn't receive sick pay or have a decent employer however, it was the closest this surgery has ever been to functional which in fairness is like celebrating your air fresher being untarnished in a car accident.

I have even tried calling the surgery when attending in person just to see if the phones actually ring (which they don't) as it's that difficult to get any response from this place whatsoever I'd rather put my money on Kilroy Silk coming back on tele.

If you have an immune system of steel and never get ill in the slightest but when you do, you don't mind driving around or paying for taxis across Leeds and potentially further afield then by all means, being a patient here might work out well for you and I wish you all the luck in the world as you're going to need it .
