I feel grateful to have Riverbank Medical Centre as my GP surgery. I am aware that working in an NHS GP surgery can be tough for all staff. I can honestly say that every interaction I have had with this surgery over the years regarding me or my children has left me feeling that I am in good hands with the Riverbank team. The receptionists and secretaries are clearly very busy but I have always found them to be pleasant and helpful.
GP care is by your named GP whenever possible, this is not common to find in the current climate and in my opinion the continuity it brings is hugely positive for patient care. I really like how they structure their system, I have always had a call back from a GP on the same day if it was a health issue that I felt could not wait, i do prefer to wait until my named GP is available if possible (he is excellent). All the doctors and nurses I have met have provided great patient care while also being kind and friendly. I wanted to leave this review just to say a big thanks from my family and I but also from all the Midhurst residents who feel the same but may not voice it, you do a brilliant job of caring for our community and it is appreciated!

Very good practice. Lovely doctors and great staff. When needed I have always been seen quickly. Particularly after suffering a minor stroke and diagnosed with skin cancer. Cannot fault this practice.

The NHS in this country the best ever I m very happy with all the stuff Working on the NHS In riverbank in midhurst they doing good job over there.

we have the best NHS cervices in the world our NHS all around the country 95% amazing they care given maximum quality care services when they have time.
We no needed to complain about because they look after the patients with maximum amount of attention i given 5 star for one NHS service around the country but for Riverbank in midhurst i given 95% and I still happy with they care for the patients when we need them.
95% we still have good service.
this country we most be proud of our NHS service what they given for the treatment care every single day for free services for free medicines free ambulance service they absolutely brilliant.
the paramedics absolutely amazing they segment response after our GP we have the best service for the paramedics my own experience when we need them.
The best NHS service they give ever.

The receptionist was rude even though I’d constantly dealing with elderly vulnerable people. Apparently no matter what your exemption to wearing a mask is they don’t not actually care because their staff have had covid multiple times due to obviously not taking proper precautions. Surely this is because of negligence seeing as people like my self who are exempt have not had covid once. I was actually disgusted by the way one of the elderly patients were treated. No matter how busy or under pressure you are compassion is free

I have been a patient of the Riverbank Medical Centre for three years and would like to commend the exceptional politeness of all the staff, the readiness of the doctors actually to see you during the current pandemic and the extraordinary efficiency with which they are vaccinating their at patients against Covid-19. Having been a senior partner of a large NHS Group Practice with almost 50,000 patients, I know how difficult it must be to operate so well during these trying times - so well done, and thank you.

Be prepared to have to call up to 6 times to get through, then go on hold. I've also experienced staff being unfriendly and unprofessional. I would like to give them a higher rating as sometimes they get some really good locum's in, unfortunately I can't. I expect better service than they are providing.
Edit: Changed my rating down to 1 star I think I've tried calling 9 times in the last 2 days, I finally got through only to be told to call back tomorrow.
Edit: Just got a letter in the mail to say I've missed my appointment. The appointment I never made, nor received any communications about. Seems they are in a bit of a muddle.

This is a fantastic surgery who has around 12,500 patients. The telephone triage is an efficient method that prevents patients from standing in line waiting for appointments. Other surgeries need to adopt this! If you need medical advice, you will speak to a doctor that day. I can't fault them. Riverbank is a great surgery to belong to and to work for.
