Care team ignored DNR and attempted this was documented in the care file. Records were so badly kept, I wasn't even informed my dad had died as they had the OT as next of kin on record. The estate settled the final care bill of £5710.80 (for less than 50 hours "care") over a year ago and they called today 18 months after death to advise they forgot to send an invoice for £2k or include it on their final bill. Their record keeping is that poor they had to ask for my email address again as they only have my sister's, who doesn't exist according to their care file!
I will take legal advice re the unsubstantiated comment below suggesting they are owed money. "Care" company? Either their record keeping is so poor it is a genuine error or they are trying to scam further payments from relatives even though they have profited hugely already by paying care workers peanuts and charged more than a residential care home for minimal home care provision.

Nothing but praise for their outstanding services

I'm very particular regarding who I recommend but have absolutely no hesitation in thoroughly endorsing Helping Hands. I've used their services for an extended period of time and have nothing but praise for their outstanding services.

It's not easy deciding to have help at home especially if it's at a difficult time. I need have had no fears: the staff at Helping Hands made everything easy and we were all always so pleased to see their lovely ladies arrive. I have recommended Helping Hands many times - you won't be disappointed and you'll wonder how you managed without them!

Whilst I haven't heard anything bad about the business itself my parents have a very similar phone number and consistently get phone calls from their elderly patients.
My parents complained to Helping hands and asked if the company could come up with a solution, and my parents we're told to change there phone number (which they've had over 30 years), not the greatest service from a supposedly decent company.
