Awful experience with receptionist staff! After 40 minutes on hold they just hang up the phone and after another 40 minutes on hold they’ll say they don’t have any appointments available. To try again tomorrow…as you cannot book an appointment from one day to another. You have to try and call every morning.
If it would be possible I would remove from the stars that they have, 2 is too generous

Dr Shahid is an amazing doctor. Go to her ladies/ gentlemen. Always very thorough and really polite. She takes her time and actually listens. Rare to see these days with other doctors. My favourite doctor by far, please don't leave this surgery, because if you do I will be forced to go where you go 🙂

Was emailed by the centre to call them. I was on hold for 30 + mins. And some Indian girl picks up and says I’ve called the wrong number. THEY HAVE HAD THIS NUMBER FOR YEARS. WHO gave them these jobs. Receptionists are so useless and rude

Please read all of this --- Hi people just going to say the reviews for Ripple Road Medical Centre, Dr Ansari are very WRONG about the receptionists Very rude and disrespectful and receptionists never have a friendly face and worst GP surgery its ALL Total Rubbish i have been with this Surgery for just over 2 years now and i have had only 1-2 Problems small ones and when i go to the Surgery i see normal faces and a smile and wait to see doctor and ALL the doctors listen and then do their job and i have seen lots of GPs and staff throughout my life and this Surgery is GOOD and you get lots of test/scans and hosptial appointments you can not go wrong.

The surgery is good, they do see paediatric patients urgently and they are very good like that. But unfortunately the nurse is very rude, grumpy and literally blanked me when I was asking her questions. She didn’t want to answer or speak. Doesn’t make eye contact, she’s got a don’t care type of attitude. It’s a shame

Update in 2025. The reception staff are still really difficult and hard to get through to. Refused me an appointment with GP for sick child, saying they are full to the brim. Always they are desperate to hang up.

I had a hone call from the head receptionist yesterday to change my appointment to a phone from a chemists are for pills there not doctors I’ve got serious conditions witch can kill me im asthmatic diabetes sleep apnea and I operation I had done back in 2019 called a vac operation witch was crushing all my organs but it the sleep apnea syndrome that I can die from because I stro breathing when I sleep . Now a pharmacist’s is not a doctor and he’s changing prescriptions and I told the head receptionist and wanted a doctor it’s my life on the line not there’s .

This Surgery is good all staff are Friendly and try very hard you help with Appointments and Problems and yes you have to wait a little bit to see a doctors (better then waiting in A&E) do not understand the bad reviews

Had appointment today spoke to a lady called Maria on the phone was very polite and helpful also the receptionist Anurekha was very helpful also well mannered
