Visited yesterday through 111 appointment with symptoms of chest infection. The nurse sent me away with nothing, saying there was nothing wrong. Went to the GP the next morning and was diagnosed with a chest infection and given antibiotics. Go to Ilkeston they actually listen to you.

Visited after a trauma to my leg. Not too long a wait & all the staff was lovely. However, after being examined & having my leg pulled around I was diagnosed with either muscular or ligament damage (nurse couldn’t be sure). Sent home with crutches. I knew something wasn’t right as I was in excruciating pain so visited my doctor the next morning who suspected a fracture. After being referred to kings mill the same day it was confirmed that I have a tibial plateau (knee) fracture & am awaiting surgery. 😢
