Difficult to access disabled parking bays as they are abused by people without badges. I have emailed the hospital about this and I'm waiting for a reply. The disabled bays are there to assist people with disabilities not to make it easier for lazy pigs who can't be bothered to use the appropriate parking bays. These people should be fined for this. I've supplied the trust with pictures and I hope they follow up on this and take action against those abusing disabled people's parking bays.

Natalie on reception was superb, helped with a belated delivery , showed me where to park, which room to drop stuff off into and got stuck in without hesitation,

From a visitor's perspective it can be very frustrating because you must book a one hour visiting slot on the day of your visit. And frequently all the slots are booked out.

Otherwise it's a modern, clean and reasonably well maintained facility - though there's a problem with the patients' TVs.

I'm writing this review at the outrageous events that took place on Monday March 21st
when my brother-in-law was discharged and deemed fit to go home by doctors, only to be taken back to Durham University Hospital 15hrs later with a severe lung infection and Really low oxygen levels.
Did anyone actually check that he was fit to be discharged, obviously not

this little clinic is Not keen on answering phones 25 min then put on hold another 20 mins. lets hope the money saved on a receptionist went to more staff biscuits. Is there no one in charge !

i spent some days at this fantastic hospital , the standard of nursing was so good , they made it a pleasure being ill and in their care , the food was delicious , the nurses were so patient [pardon the pun] ,a nurse called lydia took me for a shower , and she was amazing .such happy dedicated young nurses all who had children ,to be so good and happy was great to see , i would like to wish every member of staff , a happy Christmas , and great new year . my love to you all , Maureen Moore xx

Immaculate hospital, first class staff who work so hard to maintain the highest of standards. My 90 year old dad recently spent 2 weeks there for rehabilitation, during this time his care was super. I had no difficulties in making appointments to visit him.
