I attended the walk in early yesterday morning with my 2 year old and all of the staff on shift were so friendly. It was first thing on a morning but they were so cheery and lovely to my daughter it ended up being a really lovely time for her to the point she didn’t want to leave! We were seen straight away and couldn’t be happier with the care and service they provided.

111 online questionnaire for an issue with my young daughter, no issues. Phone call from nurse within 5 minutes, ah brilliant 👏 Phone call within 5 minutes offering appointment at UTC "as you get seen at your appointment time rather than waiting", going so well. Got to UTC Redcar at 08.40, appointment was for 08.45, obs done and told to take a seat. 25 minutes later we get called in. We were only the 2nd appointment, the first was 08.30. If you get told they will give you an appointment so you don't have to wait don't listen.

Absolutely poor service….was continuously told 2 more patients than you. For over an hour. On top of waiting 2 hours before that after 101 said with symptoms you have will be seen within an hour. Reception staff dismissive and didn’t care or want to know.

My wife attended Redcar UTC last weekend we were very impressed with the care and treatment that she received. You might have to wait but this is the same at all UTC it is the service that you get that matters. Well done and Thankyou all

Waited 5 hours to be seen at A & E all hard working and friendly but massively understaffed.
A lot of people left giving up waiting.

Staggering checking people in to A&E, assume this is to hide the long wait times from the stats?

Unfortunately, I didn't check the "open" times, but the label on the door said "out of hours ring the bell"
It was 02.45 and having difficulty breathing I rang the bell.
Eventually after some time about 10 minutes or so, the security opened the door.
I told him I was struggling to breathe and he disappeared into the staff room.
He appears a couple of minutes later and said "sorry we're closed, you'll have to ring an ambulance"!
The staff didn't even come out to see if I was having a heart attack. Just fobbed me off!
Fantastic advertisement for the care, professionalism and due diligence of the Staff. Primary Care?
My arse! Shocking!

Good social distancing measures in place, guidelines for all hospital visitors / patients to follow clearly visible, handsanitiser available on entry, seating spaced out, notices for facemasks to be worn. Good sized car park with plenty of spaces and free.
