I must say I felt very uncomfortable with the phone call I had with the FIRST receptionist I called this morning , I’ve asked her a question which she answered rudely and made me feel dumb , however her answer was WRONG to the question I did ask. When I called back another receptionist picked up and said a different answer . It shows the receptionist had lacked a lot of knowledge and had no respect , it doesn’t make me want to ask for advice again from this medical practice .

this GP practive singlehandedly disillusioned me from believing that the NHS could ever be used as a reliable service to access healthcare. Well done guys, you and your staff truly are awful.
At least I can afford private practice going forward. The receptionists get so up in arms about having a blood test as if it comes out of their paycheck.

I was forced to leave this practice after my Doctor of 40 years retired and I automatically moved to different practice. The service was so bad, they would only assess one issue per appointment, and the list just goes on. I moved back to Radford Road thinking it can't be as bad as my current practice. So far it's been fantastic. Doctors have been attentive, listened to me issues, made recommendation, at no point did they fob me off. I felt cared for, supported, safe and really left assured my best interest was in hand. I will me moving my family over to this practice as a result of their outstanding service. The only bad point I would make, and I think this goes for most GP Practice is, the Receptionists don't come across very professional and appear to lack consideration and respect.

Since writing this review I was contacted by the team and they were incredibly understanding of my situation, incredibly friendly and sorted my a replacement prescription without me even asking. While the booking system may be irritating at times it has a reason to be the way it is. Shar especially was incredibly helpful and understanding.

I'm sorry but I can not understand why this place closes the patient triage service so quickly. I understand you must get a lot of requests but why not just let it become a waiting list? I don't mind having to wait a couple days or even a week for my request to be seen but that would be better than the situation I'm currently in where I have been unable to get in contact for over two weeks because I don't have the time in the morning to send in a request as soon as you open. I've now been off my medication for nearly two weeks because the difficulty of getting in contact is so high and it's not been set up as a repeat prescription yet.

Besides that it's really not so bad at all but I truly don't understand why I have to race to be there the moment the lines open just to be able to speak to someone. Is this commonplace for all GPs now? I know the NHS is stretched thin but logistically it makes more sense to be to at least have confirmation I will be seen in the next couple days rather than having to gamble every morning if I've even made it in time for the practice to be open

The unsupportive attitude of the reception staff DOES NOT reflect the great work of the Doctors.
The reception staff are rude in their mannerisms and have lack of compassion for humans in need of medical help. Their knowledge for the service is poor resulting in you getting different information from one to another, very confusing 😕
It's so sad my reviews for this practice is like this seen as I was a patient of the practice for 47 years. The service has definitely gone down hill! However if you get past the receptionist to see a Doctor, the Doctors, Dr shar and Dr Kaur are fantastic and very caring. Hence why I hung on for so long.

Just got off the phone with a receptionist who didn’t want to listen to a word I was saying as I tried to get my repeat prescription and she had gone off at me about how I’m in fault for not checking my own prescription had run out? Went in for a blood test and they didn’t have butterfly needles which any organised clinic would know is essential so I was sent away to another clinic, but before sending me away they tried a normal needle and after a day it became infected even though I said I can only use a certain type, I also had to wait 1 hour to be seen even though my appointment time was set. I use antidepressant and they call the first 2 weeks but after that I’m on my own, I also have bad acid reflux and they prescribed me medication for people with gastro issues which my new clinician was puzzled about also. Very neglectful and unorganised gp, can’t believe I suffered here for so long.
