Don't usually write reviews like this... but I've had so many bad experiences here with only a small handful of good. Struggling with mental health issues I wasn't diagnosed with and physical health that wasn't being treated.

The staff seem nice enough but the doctors themselves have some questionable intent. When I say that some medication may not be right for me, that's because of my bad experience with similar types. To the doctor this just means "Overreaction." but it's become my agony because all this medication just seems to hurt me more rather than help. When I first came here it was fine, I was getting somewhere. But now they just don't care. I get random doctors all the time, and that isn't the worst of it.

It's just poorly run too. Not open on weekends, barely any appointments (Just now tried to make one and it has a stupid message saying to leave a voice mail since there's too many callers, but doesn't tell you when or where?)

This is the last thing I need in my life right now.

Absolutely disgraceful. My 89 year old mother had waited all afternoon for a telephone appointment and was in a great deal of pain. I called at 4pm to check and was assured she was on the list. I reiterated how much pain she was in but despite all of this, the call never came. When my mother called, she was told that everyone had gone home and she had been forgotten. Unforgivable!!, you should be ashamed of yourselves.

I have seen Leanne for the last few months and she has been fantastic she has empathy and understand and is very caring. Previously I saw Dr Claire merritt who quickly diagnosed a problem that wasn't pick up by a and e when I was rushed in via 999 call I was very impressed as we thought it was a cardiac problem when it wasn't at all. I personally don't like the male paramedic he doesn't seem to have much time for patients. Overall very caring staff

Appalling service (apart from Nurse Practitioner Karen - who eventually got my Father albeit too late - care - palliatively)

STILL my poor Father could not get the much available treatment to save him.
Now blocking solicitors in getting his medical notes. They have guilt all over them.

I have recently required assistance with a cyst and general health, and during this time I saw Dr Inglis who was very caring and professional and helped me with both getting my cyst seen to and getting appointments for my blood tests. With regards to blood tests I saw an amazing Nurse at the Punnetts town clinic, absolutely fantastic!! As blood tests go, this was the best I have ever had, barely felt a thing, she also helped with changing a dressing. Very informative and caring. I have found all the receptionists to be polite and pleasant showing both empathy and professionalism. I understand the pressures that GP surgeries face and as such the difficulties in getting appointments, however I know that this is not their fault, and praise where it is due, I have received only kindness and care. Thank you

Booking appointments - please introduce a queuing system over the phone. Redialling is a pain and it's dumb luck if you manage to get though. Today I've reached redial 27 times and now I've given up.

Waiting time - this can really vary however never on time (pretty standard everywhere now though.) My appointments have ranged from 10 minutes late to 1.25 hours late.

Treatment - doctors have always been helpful and attentive. They get 5 stars. I have however been prescribed the wrong medication and usage once (given an apply externally only cream for an ear infection) and misdiagnosed once (antibiotics for a viral infection, sure this happens a lot) *Both times a doctor was not involved* On one of these occasions the receptionist was incredibly rude and lacking in empathy to my situation when I needed to question the treatment. My local chemist wasn't surprised at the attitude I recieved, says a lot, and spoke to them on my behalf as I was reduced to tears. I was too poorly to complain at the time. I haven't had to deal with her since. This was January time 2018 so with any luck she has moved on since.

Receptionist - other than that particular moody, rude piece of work they're all really friendly and caring.
