First time visit recommended by my vet..my 10 month old dog had to have an eye operation. I was very happy with the service I received and operation went well it's been just weeks and had a check up and staff was very happy with his condition and pleased his improving well. Price was very reasonable considering they basically saved his eye sight..very happy with all round treatment from start to finish. Great hospital for animals plus staff amazing. We have been going here for more years than I can remember for our dogs to donate blood. This is so important, it could save a dogs life. The nurses that take the donation are very caring and always remeber the dogs names when we visit. If you have dogs who can donate, it a good day out. My wife that is disabled always enjoys it. Please contact them, if you feel that this is something your dog and you could do.

The treatment my daughter's cat received was excellent. Even when the treatment had to be extended due to the non arrival of the radioactive drug required they did not charge for the extra stay or demand we returned (over 100nmiles to collect her cat). All dealings with RVC have been good and the staff seem great.
Reception is generally clean, nice to see cats and dogs separated and special units to place your cat and it's carrier in.

Can’t fault this hospital. My dog is 9 days post a hip replacement and from the first appointment to now the staff have all been so lovely and helpful. When my dog was staying, and away from home for the first time, I let them know and I got regular update by phone as well as emails with pictures. My boy was well loved and looked after and hopefully ok his way to a whole new outlook on life when he recovers.

My cat was unwell and was urgently transferred to Queen Mother's. Although it was quite late it was also quite busy she was seen very quickly and was given immediate fluids for dehydration. She was kept in for 4 days and given a full MOT. They kept us informed every step of the way with regular updates on her progress. She is now back at home and doing fine. They are still checking in on her via email and giving us further test results. Turns out to be nothing too serious but she was treated no less for this. Amazing staff, very helpful and understanding.

This hospital puts in the least effort to save your pet and, in the end, leaves you to watch them die in your hands. The lack of care, compassion, and responsibility is beyond unacceptable. Instead of providing proper treatment, they make both the pet and the owner suffer, leaving a lasting emotional scar. No pet owner should have to experience such pain. Avoid this place at all costs!

Was referred here so that my ferret could get a CT scan for his cancer. All staff were lovely and polite even when I got confused and asked lots of questions. My ferret was in the best hands.
The waiting areas are separated for cats and dogs mainly which is brilliant. Prevents stress. There isn't a designated area for small animals but there is extra separate seating that can be used.
Jo and Abi were the main staff members that assisted me, thank you both!
Staff at reception were happy to help and answer my questions as best they could. Thank you QMH !
