I am amazed that a care home is run in such a very bad way, people are paying up too ÂŖ1400 a week, the nice lady Carol Head that was the heart of Gold winner last year buys cheap lemonade at 17 pence a bottle because that is all the residence drink,
The owners are very, very generous they are giving the residence ÂŖ4 each as a Christmas present, please tell me what my relation can buy for that amount when they are not allowed too visit the shops.
Thank goodness they have staff that are very caring and look after the old folks very well.

I have returned to Queen Elizabeth Park after 9 years. The owners and staff have done a great deal to this lovely care home. It is bright, stylish and very, very clean. Most of the staff still there and happy to work there. Residents and relatives adore them. The Head chef, yeah still lovely Carole, is trialling gorgeous spring menu... best chorizo breakfast muffins I ever ate.

Mother spent three weeks in the home for respite - third home I've tried in the area. QEP is head and shoulders above the others. The staff are very kind, and very responsive and efficient. They pay attention to the kind of detail that makes the difference between an elderly, rather befuddled lady feeling comfortable and being even more befuddled and very uncomfortable. It is such a relief to know there is somewhere she can go for respite (and maybe full time in due course) where she will be properly cared for.

I have visited the same resident on three occasions and have been somewhat disturbed by what I saw. The room was very small with no outlook other than a brick wall. Whilst the staff were friendly I was concerned that the call button was not easily to hand. The activities offered were very limited and included 'sorting laundry' - an occupation that may suit dementia sufferers but is certainly not designed to stimulate the brain. Lunch was served whilst I was there and looked very unappetizing. My overall impression was that this home would depress anyone.

Run by clowns . Bad care standards and terrible staff members. The residents are woken up at 5.30 on second floor . Imagine you thinking your grandparents are being cared for but are dragged out if bed before the sun comes up? TERRIBLE PLACE TO WORK AND LIVE .
