John and I visited his father on Christmas Eve, the staff were very friendly and the residents seemed happy watching the TV etc. It seemed as though the staff had been playing games with some of the residents. Ken, John & I were sat at a table talking till it was time for the residents to have tea, then we left.

At first we were happy but by the time dad left (after several months of respite care), he was dehydrated had serious weight loss, with bleeding sores in his mouth and on heels, sent to permanent care home with no socks, open sores in winter. And no proper handover provided to new home. The doctors, health visitor and new care staff were shocked at his state and we were planning end of life care and funerals. 7 months later in his new home he is very much alive, eating, walking, interacting and this is all like a bad dream. A complaint has been lodged via Social Services

Mum has stayed for respite twice in Priory care. Both times they have shown mum dignity, genuine affection and respect. It is immacultely clean which is important to mum and us and the care and personal consideration given to her gives reassure to the her family who care for her day to day.

Auntie was looked after very well and their end of life care was excellent. I would recommend this care home to anyone who needs care or a relative that does.

Large home, very dark corridors, only saw a room with no facilities, parking available in grounds, or parking on main road.
