Absolutely shocking excuse of a doctors surgery! If I could give zero stars I would! Moody unhelpful staff and can never get an appointment!

I have had the worst experience of my life. My prescription has never been completed on time. All of the receptionists are rude and condescending especially to those who can’t speak English properly. They have no patient care what’s so ever. This surgery is a joke the doctors don’t see you even when you’ve sent online form at 8 in the morning. You have to go to the hospital instead you might as well not have this GP

Please do NOT register at this doctors. They do not listen to you AT ALL. And it is impossible to get an appointment unless you’re there at 8am sharp. Any other time after that you won’t get an appointment. I moved to a different practice and the difference in professionalism and care is outstanding.

Yet again had another appointment cancelled!
Been waiting 2 months now !
Always waiting to get thought to the phone lines to then then get told to go online … that only lets a limited amount of people send in before you get told it’s full for the day .
I walked to the surgery whilst still on hold to speak to someone in person , was expecting a busy surgery after being on hold for 20+ mins …no just 2 member of staff behind the desk having a chat a
.
Personally looking to change doctors surgery as I’m sick being messed around

If you’re looking for a GP avoid this practice at all costs! Absolutely diabolical customer service, after waiting for almost half an hour to get through the receptionist can’t wait to get you off the call. If you do then actually manage to get an appointment the doctors just don’t seem to care. Since covid this surgery has just give up and is barely functioning.

When I was attended for the first time by the GP I was impressed with the quality. 5 stars, for sure.
When the pandemic started, everything fell apart. Quality dropped, medical care was almost exclusively over the phone (and most of the time it was null because the problem was not resolved). To be able to make an appointment via telephone was almost impossible (I spent almost an hour waiting to be answered and gave up). At my last face-to-face appointment, I was on hold for ONE HOUR, and the doctor wasn't seeing any patients before me.
I moved for another address two years ago and had decided not to transfer to another GP, but in face of this mess and poor service, I had no other choice.
One star now is too much for this GP...

Having been a patient with this surgery for over 25 years I can honestly say in the last 5 or 6 years the service is very bad.

The receptionists are rude and incompetent they always let you down and their attitude is very bad.

The doctors are rude and incompetent even in serious matters this surgery will cause you heart ache and pain.

Each person who works in this surgery will give you different excuses for even the basic tasks that they assure you that will be done.
We all miss Dr Unwin

This surgery has let me down many times they lose medical reports blood samples if you want a truly bad service please join this surgery.

I have been with this surgery for 10 years now, although over the past 2-4 years I have been more of a frequent patient. Very much hit and miss experience. They've lost a few samples which I had to re-do and told me I have been booked in and on the day I call to say nobody called me, the appointment was not on the system. So now, naturally I double check everything from appointments to requests being fulfilled. (even if this means being on hold for 30 mins for a 1 minute question/query) I have had 2 negative experiences so far with DR but I believe it may be the same one. Now I know who my preferred DR(s) is/are and request to specifically be booked with them. Appointment time generally 7-10 days. Blood results come back in 2-3 days but you are not able to see them until you speak to the DR about them (7-10 days later) - just something to be aware of if you are expecting a quicker service. If you have a suspected UTI, you are able to drop of a urine sample in the morning at the surgery without appointment, results are in by the afternoon with antibiotics prescribed the same day. Also a tip, if you require a faster appointment it may be worth asking the receptionist if there are any other appointments available at another practice which they can book you in with. I have used this service before.
