I cannot express my gratitude enough to the staff at the Princess Alice Hospice who helped care for my grandfather so diligently, with such a high level of care, warmth and friendliness. Each carer that my family and I were around demonstrated consistent care, compassion and were all super responsive. I will always be so grateful. A huge thank you.

Honestly at the moment I’m at a loss for words, but I am so thankful for Princess Alice Hospice. The care my mum received in her last few days was absolutely incredible. Thank you for making it so comfortable for her! Staff and everyone involved was amazing!!!

I went into the shop at Esher this week whilst visiting family in the area. The lady I dealt with (short
spiky platinum hair), was most helpful, polite and very knowledgeable! Other staff we keen to offer advice too, what a lovely bunch of people you have in this shop!

I had in fact never been in a charity shop before, however the window displays drew me in, and this felt more like a little boutique (I made 3 purchases!). I also love the way the charity is supporting PRIDE! What an outstanding example of the best in charity shops, I will be back!! Thank you.

Such a wonderful place with incredible staff. They looked after my mum in her final weeks and showed such genuine compassion and care despite the fact she could often be a very difficult woman!

I won’t have a bad word said about PAH. Although five years ago now, PAH took incredible care of my mum in her final weeks and days, as well as the rest of my immediate family after she passed. I have never encountered a more caring environment or anywhere with a greater sense of community, extended to anyone whose lives have been touched by the hospice. Since my mum’s death, I have volunteered at the hospice, sung with their community choir, and visited for a number of other reasons. I have always been made to feel safe and welcome. PAH is a truly one of a kind.

If only every NHS hospital could be 10% as good as this hospice was in caring for my mother, people would suffer less at the end of their lives or indeed, actually recover. All staff were compassionate, attentive, caring and kind and the rooms were very comfortable. The cafe area is very well done and the open space in the middle, for patients to open their windows and doors on to, is great. It felt more like a hotel than a hospice. In short, it felt like the exact opposite to every under-staffed and poorly run NHS hospital we'd experienced in the past 2 years. Thank you for your help. You made a big difference to us.

My dear husband spent the last two weeks of his life there, in beautiful surroundings; with excellent care and attention; lovely food and refreshments at any time; complimentary therapies and much much more. Even family and friends were given a warm and friendly welcome each time we visited.nothing was too much trouble.
