Recently had my laproscopy here at practice plus group.
My experience was absolutely amazing. The team leader malcom when I was called in for admissions was such a gem, put me right at ease and such a lovely talkative person.
Afterwards I didn't react well to the general anaesthetic when I woke up and taken to the day ward, and was very ill but the nurses were absolutely fantastic and such lovely people and looked after me amazingly.
I can't remember their exact names but my mum caught their names, Linda and Alex were Fantastic into the evening, and during the day there was a male nurse who i sadly didnt catch his name but he was absolutely fantastic. I can't thank these wonderful people enough for looking after me!

My husband was the hospital's patient and his all treatment was OK but..... how many times I had to go with him to the hospital, using the mixed male female toilet downstairs was horrible. I am a woman and I have to sit down to use the loo but here is impossible. Men are using a toilet standing . All around is full with smelly wee and the sit is impregnated with it . Really? I expect more from a hospital. It's disgusting. Mixing male and female is not good from the hygiene point of view . Can you do something about it ?

Update
Thank you to John Crisp ,Hospital Director , replying to my review. I was talking about the toilets on level B ,near the Caffè, near the main entrance. On level C ,outpatient ,the toilets are very clean .

I was referred here by my GP because she thought this was an efficient place for my urgent surgery. I have biliary duct stones and stones in my gallbladder. The doctor told me she would send me here because they could likely perform the procedure more quickly.

I received my pre-surgical appointment at Practice Plus Group, and the doctor was very professional. He explained what needed to be done. However, I was then sent by him to the CT scan and X-ray unit to book an MRCP appointment. When I went to this unit, they essentially ignored me. They said they would call me, but three weeks passed, and they never did.

During this time, my condition worsened. I had to visit my GP again, and she emphasized that my surgery was urgent. She called Practice Plus Group on my behalf, and they finally contacted me the same day to book the appointment. Unfortunately, that same night, I had to be admitted to the emergency department due to complications. I developed jaundice and very high liver enzyme levels. I was discharged two days later after performing an MRCP and confirming that I have biliary duct stones.

Afterward, I called Practice Plus Group to inform them of my situation and to let them know that the MRCP I needed had already been done in the emergency department. I asked if this report would be useful for them, but I was completely ignored. I called them again two days before the already booked MRCP with them, to tell them if they have received the information of my MRCP, they told me "we will call you later today". They never did. They do not care about their patients honestly.

It wasn’t until recently that I realized they are a private group. After reading the comments here, it’s clear they prioritize paying patients over those referred by the NHS. This neglect is unacceptable, and I hope the NHS reconsiders using this unit.

Warning if you are referred here for wisdom tooth extraction. My husband is in agony and there is a 6 month waiting list before they will even accept your referral. Soon all treatments will go to private companies like this

Had my sigmoidoscopy at Practice Plus Group on 5th August and the experience was very good. The aftercare was excellent. Also had an appointment with Dr Karamanlis for piles and again he was a very good dr. Would recommend coming to this place for treatments.

I have had two operations with Practice Plus Group, one new hip and the second a replacement ear drum with Surgeon Animesh Banexjee. They were both very successful operations and the hospital and staff outstanding in their care and follow up. I would recommend them without hesitation.
