Not sure why there are bad reviews... this place has always been fantastic in my experience. I’ve been a regular here because of severe heart failure, so I probably see more of how things run than the occasional visitor.

Yes, like anywhere, the system isn’t perfect. Sometimes there’s a delay with prescriptions, but honestly, that’s just life with modern tech, it happens everywhere.

What really stands out is the staff. They’re amazing... always friendly, helpful, and willing to go above and beyond to accommodate you. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them!

no words,ordered my medication,last wednesday, nearly a week later told it had been diverted elswere, ....doing blood. tests when patients have not presented symptoms (eg) CA-125 staff not trained ....not fit for purpose CQC,need involvement

Usually it’s ok but generally you have to chase everything I’ve asked them questions and they’ve said they’ll get back to me and they never have and I couldn’t order my repeat prescription so I called and asked them to allow me to order through the nhs app again she repeatedly told me I didn’t need to because she had ordered when I finally managed to explain to her I meant the next time I order will it be on the app she said yes and surprise it wasn’t there. Really annoying and the receptionist made me feel like I was asking for something unreasonable didn’t really get the feeling she was listening

I’ve been with this surgery since childhood. I’ve not to date had many problems with the surgery. I always send off an e consult for my anti depressants and it gets sorted quickly. The mental health nurses here are very kind in manner, and the receptionists have a much better manner than they did before. If I can’t get an appointment there I’m usually given one at the Newland part of the surgery.

Iv been with this absolute joke of a place for just over a year now. Trying to get an appointment is like ripping your teeth out, the staff do not care enough to help you. I had taken it upon myself to book an appointment online (which I couldn’t get) and to my surprise I could access my reports which left me in complete shock. The fact there are things on there that could be life threatening to me and Iv not had one doctor nor nurse contact me to inform me what’s going on with my health. Please please do not register here. Absolutely appalling!!

I have only been with the practice a short time, since moving into the area. I have found all staff friendly and approachable stall times. Some are possibly new and did need assistance in booking an appointment for me outside the surgery. But that’s a learning experience. This practice is better at helping than my previous practice and so thank you. Your patience with my inability to use some of the online consultations that all practices seem to be being forced into, was much appreciated!

While I can understand that the health of yourself, loved ones and children can be a stressful situation, I feel that these reviews are not a true reflection of this practice and it's become an outlet for people to rant about their one off experiences. I've got nothing but praise for the doctors and staff here and I've been here 33 years. I've experienced my fair share of upset with my health, but the support I've had from the doctors who fought tooth and nail for me to get the hospital referrals I need, was second to none. I've been in the surgery waiting room before and have seen some people lash out at the staff over some very insignificant issues and it's disgusting. Yes, the phone lines are busy and getting through to get an appointment can be a nightmare, but if it's needed, you'll wait. Patience, manners and kindness cost nothing but go a long way.
