Worst experience, I'll avoid ever coming back!! Truly horrendous experience, the people doing the scan were very cold and lacked any bedside manner or emotion to be quite honest! There was no 'hello, I'm X', just told to lie there! I wasn't aware I'd be having an internal examination as well as the usual ultrasound. I'd never had one of these before so became a little apprehensive, I shared that with them and nothing was said, the room remained silent. I even tried to lighten the mood by saying how embarrassing it was, again the room remained silent! Upon flinching I was just told to relax in a rather harsh manner, at no point did the woman talk me through what was going to happen or what to expect, she said it would be just like a smear - I can safely say it wasn't! I wasn't spoken to before, during or after the appointment, just told to call the doctor in a week. Incredibly poor people skills and really disappointing to have this experience by a female team around women's health! I hope this will be my first and last experience at this place with this team. I left feeling shocked, violated and incredibly uncomfortable! I can't even share the name of the people I saw as they were never introduced and I debated whether to post a review but reading the experience of others helped me feel like I wasn't the only one, so I hope this helps others!

THE WORST PLACE TO FIND

*For anyone looking for it. Walk into the shopping centre, find the kids play area. It’s right at the back next to it. *

I took my mother here for an ultrasound appointment. Luckily I left my home early to get there 30 minutes before. Once I got there I could not find the place anywhere. I was making my poor mother walk around in circles who has really bad arthritis. My husband was trying to call the clinic to find out where it was, to then be put at caller 30 of the queue (the number redirected him to the booking number) The booking team should tell you before hand where to find the place.

The staff did not even seem concerned when we walked in panting saying we couldn’t find it. And that they should call before the appointment to tell us where it is located.

Ultrasound booking came through within 2 working days. Easy to book the appointment. At the centre itself I was welcomed at reception by a friendly member of staff. The radiologist was kind and caring. Very thorough with the scan. Thank you for making it a good experience.

Arrived for my appointment only to be told the individual doing the scan hadn't even arrived yet. He walked in 20 minutes later. I was seen 45 minutes late, so an hour after arriving early as advised.
I understand things can run late due to unforeseen circumstances but to keep patients waiting because no one turned up on time is incredibly disrespectful when you've been forced to wait several weeks in pain for an appointment.
No communication on the exact location of the centre and online maps lead you astray; took forever to find the place, and others there had the same issue. No receptionist or staff, so everyone entering had no clue what was required of them.

A very good and professionally run place
My wife had her scans here and the Google maps takes you to the car park and says it is in there
The place is inside the shopping centre next to a gym and outside the place there js a area where kids soft play ares so you can’t miss it
There was no person manning the reception so you have to buzz and wait to be let in
Place is clean and tidy and the covid marks are still there on the floor
My wife said that the people working are very good and very professional and she had her scans all good
I did read some of the reviews and will say they are not a true reflective of the place

Changing my review - I get many people do have issues with booking but if I’m honest my scan came through quick and my Google review sparked and internal investigation which the company is taking seriously. I must say I haven’t had a follow up to a complaint like this before which indicates that they are really keen on making positive changes

Excellent service and very polite, friendly staff. I had an early appointment for 2 scans shortly after they opened. I arrived 15mins early as requested. The entrance doors don't open automatically but someone quickly let me in. I was welcomed with a smile, my details confirmed and then called by the sonographer and her assistant very promptly. This is the second time in 4 years I've had to have scans done here and both times I've been very happy with the speed in getting an appointment and the service provided. I would say that if you arrive a little early as requested, you'll be helping keep the appointments moving along on time.
