A poor experience. I was asked for a pneumococcal injection at 11.07 precisely. I was there at 11am and signed in. I waited 30 minutes but to no avail. I had to leave for a meeting at 12pm. I understand the NHS is busy but this struck me as an example of a poorly organised and managed surgery.

My husband and I have just moved to Wiltshire and would like to thank Petworth Surgery for their amazing support during the 14 years we lived in the town. The reception team were outstanding and always went out of their way to help while the GPs and clinicians were a delight and great at making us feel at ease and well cared for. Well done especially during these difficult times!

Lovely friendly practice and no shortage of appointments. Saw Mr Williams today at short notice spoke to a great male receptionist. Saw who I believe is the new paramedic advisor, knowledgeable, professional and caring . He was running slightly late as he gives people his time ! Thankyou Petworth 🙂

It does take a while to get through to reception but that is due to more houses being built in the surrounding area.

Another brilliant service from Petworth Surgery today. I needed to see the GP so telephoned this morning. After a brief discussion with the receptionist outlining the issue I was given a same day, face to face appointement. The GP was absolutely lovely and incredibly thorough in her diagnosis and prescription. So grateful that the surgery has consistently provided this high level of service to me and my three children since moving back to Petworth 12 years ago.

People of Petworth and the surrounding area are so fortunate to have such an amazing surgery, when in some areas you can't even register with a GP, let alone get an appointment.

I have personally found the team answering phone calls extremely helpful, although getting through takes a while sometimes (which seems to be the case everywhere) once you are speaking to them they are very helpful and efficient at arranging appointments or call backs. The doctors I have seen have also been extremely helpful and supportive of my queries.

I have only ever had a positive experience with Petworth surgery. I hear so much negativity about GP practices these days (not Petworth) I can only imagine the pressure the services are under. My previous surgery had a statistics board which explained how many people didn’t turn up or answer their phone for appointments on a monthly basis. It was shockingly high especially given how many appointments could have been taken up by those who would have attended.

Amazing surgery. I can normally get an appointment very quickly, and the staff are very helpful. The only negative about the surgery is the rude female receptionist who is always combative and passive aggressive. The other receptionists are compassionate and helpful!
