Ringing this surgery is very hard work and stressful. Most of the receptionists are not very nice or helpful. However, I'm giving 5 stars for a lovely lady called Sue who is far above the rest of the receptionists on call. She is kind, caring and professional. Thank you Sue. I hope you set the standard at this practice.

Zero stars awful

Receptionists failed to send off paperwork relating to diagnosis for disorders, Even after being told by other individuals to do so. Waited 6 months for nothing my opinion avoid receptionists unprofessional rude snobby,

Problems within there system time waiting

Receptionist refuse to provide their names, once I asked them that I wanted to make a complaint
They refuse to comply or communicate

Only individuals that have something to hide refuse to provide their name

It's your choice if you choose to join this doctor surgery but I do warn you be alert. Working individuals within this organization don't do their job or pay attention or listen

Not only that the other reviews alone speak volume

Definitely needs new receptionists without a doubt and investigations slacking.

Can only make appointments via app. No choice of who you can see and feel comfortable with. The doctor today was very dismissive and very definitely uphelpful , didn’t listen and prescribed exactly what I had tried before to no avail. Only Ben Clarke and dr. Kristofer worth seeing. Very unhappy and after over 50years considering changing surgeries

Wow! The older lady at reception needs to be fired. So unprofessional she was having an argument with a staff member, told me to hold a minute then answered. She is very argumentative, no appointments when they told me to ring before 10 am. I will be changing GPs. I feel sorry for the colleagues. Shocking!

I need a doctor's appointment, so phoned up first thing in the morning, no answer, i kept on the line for 30mins, still no answer, i had to go to work, so i had to hang up. When in work phoned again, again no answer, this time i stayed on the line for 1 hour straight, still no one picked up. It's completely wrong that when you need see a doctor, not that you have to wait to get through, but they don't even bother to answer the phone. Absolutely shocking. Can't believe my N.I contributions go to this.

Tried to ring for an appointment put it just cuts me off. So I go through nhs app that tells me to go to urgent care. Urgent care tells me we can't help you need your gp gave me a letter to take. Visit gp surgery in person with letter to be told by a very unhelpful receptionist next appointment is next Thursday 10 days away I explained that it's not good enough and she just remarks that's how it is.

its one of the worst doctors surgery ever, i have gone for my reviews twice , which has been booked over the phone with carol, first time i was told there was no appointment made, second time i went , checked in it said running 17 mins late, after being sat there half hour receptionist called me over and said my appointment was for brierfield, to which i said no when i booked it and she asked if i wanted brierfield i said no, so was booked for nelson, , i had 2 messages to remind me of my appointment at pendle valley, , i then asked why i was having a review, as i had one in august she said i didnt need it, i had also said this to receptionist (carol) when i got the message to make an appointment she said you need it as you are overdue, it is rubbish, today i started ringing at 8 still on the phone at 10 then it said i was 30 in the queue, as i was going out, i agreed to ring back, 12 oclock carol rang me i said it was disgusting and no appointments, she said well we are busy on monday, i have been with that practice for about 30 years now, but i will be changing docs very soon, dont know why they keep the receptionists carol and helen are the worst ever, very rude and speak down to you
