I have been a patient at this practice for many years. I must say that recent reorganisation of the team has such a positive impact in my experience. The appointments are quick and the clinician listen to all the concerns, ( I have spoken to Dr. Faisal recently) . I have decided to register my entire family at this practice now.

I would like to share the experience I had with Dr Prentice today. Even if we don't find the answer, he was the first doctor in 3.5 years to actually listen to me, take me seriously and try to think about next steps. He took an holistic view and took me seriously. We need more doctors like him. Brilliant and I can't even express what it means to finally be heard and hopefully find the right diagnosis and treatment. Thank you so much.

I personally can’t rate this surgery highly enough, been there 30 years. Seen many GPs come and go but recently when I needed care I received excellent service and over the phone initially.Best phone support imaginable from Dr Brew, restored my faith in the NHS. Such empathy and really listened to me. Great experience in what was a challenging time.

I'd give less than 1 star if I could.

Seriously unhelpful. Claim that I cannot be a temporary patient while I temporarily reside in Grimsby, even though the NHS website state this is something I can do and all the doctors, midwives and nurses I have spoken to cannot understand their reluctance to do this.

They are leaving me in a difficult situation at 35 weeks pregnant and it is an absolute joke.

Reception staff don't seem to know what they are talking about one minute i'm registered the next i'm not. The team leader seems to be the only person refusing me to be a temporary patient one minute claiming I could only do this if I didn't have a doctors in the UK, not correct according to the NHS website where it states I can have a temporary doctors for up to 3 months as a temporary resident to retain my home doctor. And the next minute claiming that I cannot be a temporary patient here unless it is an emergency.

It begs the question of do they even know what they are doing at all. No would be my answer.

Find a different doctor and save yourself the stress and hassle of useless people.

Has anyone joined a surgery and due to 10 different medical issues etc. The cost of medication etc. They halve my meds which I had been on 10yrs. After 4yrs of my consultants getting my pain management at an acceptable amount that I was no longer bedbound 9mths in 12...
Told this is due to the amount and once they recieve my medicals notes. Which take up to 6wks to be sent electronically. They would put me on my medication amount.
It took nearly 3yrs for them to get my medical notes although I'm aware from my previous drs that my new drs got then within 4weeks It took a car crash and solicitors requesting my notes. For them to send me a text stating they had NOW recieved my notes..
With serious illnesses and disabilities. Some needing to be operated on. They referred me everywhere they wouldn't help. I have begged to see orthopeadic surgeon just like I had been with for nearly 16yrs due to spinal issues and failed back surgeries. Only to be told its not orthopeadic I should very seeing. Due to having fibromalagia. I've have made drs aware any new pain I give myself 6mths to adapt if I can't I will request help.
In the 4yrs I've been with them awaiting medical notes to arrive so I can get my health sorted. As not from this area. I've lived in horrific pain
Finally after having to be in a serious crash. I was referred privately to orthopaedic surgeon by solicitors
. The pain I've been adapting to. Plus due to lack of pain meds. Surgery have assisted me by not aiding my pain cutting my mrds in half that apparently I've been adapting to my pain that it's caused left sided sciolsis. Which in 16yrs before I joined surgery all MRI SCANS never picked this up plus on joining the surgery I had a full back mri twice 6mths apart None seen. So by allowing me to live in pain and adapting to it by sitting laying standing in awkward positions to help myself not be in pain. .
So now this has put a toll on my mental health as I have been on phone to 2 different GPs(( elder and prentice)) and NEVER get help I'm made to feel like I'm going mad I thought over a year ago that my spine looked off and one shoulder higher than other that I sent pics no help and now standing I can see in mirror where I had two curves I only can a female curve on one side thou if I push the side without a hip curve up I have a bunch of rib bones sticking out. It's absolutely awful and I really no longer care if I wake up in the morning as what's the point
Why to we have to put complaints in Or write a lengthy letter to health secretary regarding all health issues not cared for. Or go to PALS or GMC or better yet patient claim line just to try and push the surgery to look after you
I'm now worrying that the 3rd back operation I turned down and stated when I get to point I'm more bed bound than not plus 1st opinion and then 2nd opinion by orthopeadic surgeon as truly disbelief when 1st opinion was there was a 95% risk I woukd end up in a wheelchair. That now due to curve disfigurement that's happened since joining surgery and lack of empathy when I'm pleading with the GPs I'm in agony... that I'm now going to accept defeat as that was opinion before this curved spine. What's the opinion if I say YES I now need it as I spend major of life in one room having accident as in too much pain doesn't help they haven't sorted my prolapse bladder out and carpul tunnel in BOTH Hands that can't unzip or unbutton bottom clothing. So what will be the risk if I now go ahead with a 3rd Op thou as they will have to try to on top of the 1st injury I joined surgery with sort the curve out will it still be 95%risk of wheelchair bound or will it now be higher or definitely outcome
