We went by reviews, as we’re looking for somewhere relaxed to meet family after a walk (and was a large group of us). The food was excellent and the staff were so friendly. We had the best day & were pleased we stumbled across this spot. Generous Sunday roasts and great menu for children. Saving for another visit if we’re in the area again.

Really friendly Tea room. Covered in runners and cyclists. They have bike pumps and water taps. Great sausage rolls, cakes and then a food menu with local sea food and lots of other great stuff. Definitely worth a visit.

Revised now lockdown allows us to sit down. Had a full English with the wife which was lovely. Yet again very friendly and helpful.

An absolute hidden gem, fabulous food and super friendly service, including for our dogs! Had full breakfast and it was stunning, large and cooked well. Tea came with mini bottle of milk, very cute. Water and dog bowls available, very dog friendly. Definitely going to be a regular customer.

Have passed the "Pear Tree Pantry" many times this was our first visit and most definitely won't be our last, on a cold wet Saturday the log burner made it very cosy and welcoming as did the Staff, it is immaculately clean with lots of room, the occasional waft of the log smoke from the log burner was really nice and added to the homely feel, our tea and coffee arrived very quickly and hot (real tea in a pot and "proper tea") we made our choices from the breakfast menu which bot arrived speedily and piping hot, my eggs benedict were delicious my wife's pancakes she also told me were absolutely lovely, we liked it so much Sunday morning breakfast is on the cards. Parking is free and plentiful and to the rear of the "Pantry" and a very easy walk for those of us less able. Thoroughly recommend by a self confessed fussy bugger.

True to my word we returned on Sunday with our little dog for breakfast and definitely was not disappointed. Very very well cooked and very tasty, nothing is too much trouble, we booked a festive afternoon tea for during the Christmas break

It’s the second time I have visited, Hubby and I had the roast omg it’s the best roast we’ve had for a long time. Staff were lovely and friendly made to feel welcome. Will definitely be back 😊

Found this very nice tea room, ample parking at rear, inside & outside seating, very clean large toilet, nice & chatty lady server, food arrived promptly & was tasty & all locally sourced.
Enjoyed our visit & will return.

Perfect lunch stop 🐶 I didn't even have to lay on my cute look before the bowl and biscuits were provided for me, just like that, so kind and considerate of us four legged customers. The family were delighted with their lunch, both vegetarian meals they chose were delicious, they didn't save any for me ! I could tell the decaff coffee was really excellent from the mmms at the table. I don't think the family will need much persuasion to go again soon...
