This barber has quickly become my favourite. He’s incredibly attentive to detail and has a fantastic memory, always picking up right where he left off. He remembers exactly what needs to be worked on for the next visit, which is a great touch. On top of that, he’s a brilliant conversationalist—whether it’s politics, global warming, or just general banter, the chat is always engaging. Mark is a fantastic barber, a true professional. Hair looks good weeks later unlike other Barbers and DIY jobs by myself. I've had many great conversations over the years and loads of laughs. Only thing missing is a quartet. Great experience at a very reasonable price.

Always an amazing cut on my 8 year old sons hair who can be a bit fidgety 😂 but Mark is always very patient! Would highly recommend to anyone especially if you like a good friendly chat and a laugh aswell. Wouldn’t take my son anywhere else.

Been coming to Mark as recommended to sort a dodgy cut from elsewhere. He is passionate about individual styles, and isn't happy unless perfection is achieved. Always great conversation and the time flies by.
Free parking locally, & great value for a haircut. Would not go anywhere else

I never go anywhere else. Top haircut at a good price and it's great reminiscing about the old days or current hot topic with Mark. A 5 min walk away, what's not to like? 5 stars well earnt and I'll be back. As clearly stated on the website, note that appointment booking is now mandatory on certain days, which means you're not kept waiting more than a couple of minutes. Nice one!

I have been using Mark's services for many years. I lived locally. I have recently moved to Chelmsford, however have already booked my post lockdown cut . Good conversation, excellent haircut, reasonable pricing. What more can you ask for? AJB
