To say this program changed my life is an understatement. I was diagnosed in 2017 and found the OMS program shortly after. It has helped me to remain healthy (no new relapses-hooray!), given me the tools to understand my MS & how to live well with it, and a support system that is amazing. The detailed evidence based recommendations are easy to follow. The website is well laid out and it is easy to find information and inspiration. I highly recommend this program, the book and the website to everyone with MS and their family members.

Having been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, I went looking for a support group that I thought would be able to help me in my situation. The OMS support group brought me in touch with many other people also living with MS. This is a friendly, informative and caring group of like-minded people who share their fears and worries as well as their questions and celebrations and achievements. I can’t recommend this group highly enough for the support they have given me since my diagnosis.

Since being diagnosed with MS I had a 24/7 dark cloud of doom and gloom around me which I could not shake.

From the scary first day that I went to the OMS retreat in Ammerdown, my attitude towards my future life has changed completely!

I now very rarely worry about my future with MS as I’m enjoying the many positive benefits that the OMS program has added to my current life.

Whilst I’m not the best at implementing all the changes, I know that I now have the tools to proactively do something about controlling it myself.

I no longer feel alone as I have the backup of a wonderful support network of friends who I met on the retreat. There is also a wider community of OMSers on Facebook and twitter who are there to support one another. We all understand and believe in overcoming MS!

OMS - the charity and all the tools they provide, the actual program....has been literally life changing for me. I can’t say enough how stumbling into OMS 16 months post diagnosis has been transformative in so many positive ways. I am physically and emotionally a zillion times better. Thank you OMS for helping me become a story of hope! x

In my opinion, this is the book that should be given to anyone newly diagnosed with MS. At such a frightening time it provides much needed positivity about how to tackle a diagnosis of MS. With evidence based steps to manage and take back control, the reader will feel like they can actually do something to tackle this disease. For me this gave me the first sliver of hope I’d felt since my diagnosis. It was 3 years after diagnosis that I read this, I wish I’d read it on day 1. Following OMS is one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. There’s lots of support out there to help to follow the programme too.

OMS was a life changer for me. I was diagnosed with MS in 2013 and found the book by Prof George Jelinek to be so inspiring. I will follow the program of a plant based diet, exercise, meditation and vitamin d for the rest of my life. It works.

I have Multiple Sclerosis, diagnosed in 1997 by myself, 1998 by senior neurologist in hospital in London, I did well for a number of years but was going downhill and thought that a wheelchair was beckoning in 2013. I discovered OMS, read and understood all of the science. Started doing it immediately. Fully.

Sometimes nowadays I can almost forget that I have MS Started doing it immediately. Fully. It saved my life.
